We finally tried this place out and were not disappointed! We did not get prepared foods (that is for next time!) and instead got some salmon. The fish was excellent quality. As they told us in the store, "Good fresh fish doesn't stink!" It cooked up beautifully and was a testament to their sourcing. This will be our go to for fresh fish from now on as the quality is head and shoulders above what we can get elsewhere in town.

Had the Grilled Salmon Meal, Portuguese Street Corn and Beef Stew as takeout meals. Large portions that are absolutely delicious! The service was outstanding too. It’s easy to tell that the owners, Christine and Michael, make sure to prepare each meal as if they were cooking it for themselves or their own family. Will definitely buy more meals when back in the area visiting family.

I've been to Portugal and tried food in famous restaurants, but, to me, the food here is much more delicious than those in Portugal. Taste good and less salty. They fry in thin layer of flour which is nice. Fresh, clean, and great customer service. This place is a hidden gem.

While Firehouse does a brisk take-out business, we are huge fans of their fish market! Always fresh. Affordable. And great customer service.

Firehouse Seafood, in Hudson for a quick lunch and to grab some fresh fish. Called it in, ready when they said it was and the pick up by the side window worked great, and super friendly.

Got the cod fish and chips for $10 and it was a really solid lunch. Decent portion, decent batter, hot and the chips were still crisp.

The only suggestion I'd have and this goes for pretty much every place that does a fish fry or chips in the US, to wrap the food in paper like at a deli, before putting it in the styrofoam container.

Might not be the best in the world, but it's solid, it's fresh, can't beat the price and it's in walking distance to both Medusa and Ground Effect, so perfect take out for a summer beer garden. I'll definitely be back.

We've been going here at least 2x month for about 4 years now. We sometimes get enough to freeze in single size servings. Always great seafood, even after freezing. Sometimes we get the onion rings and those are great as well. We bought the sea scallops last week and they were VERY GOOD. The prices are reasonable and Alex is so nice, he's always so friendly.

I come for the bacalao. IN BIG BUCKETS. And the wonderful service. It's a hole in the wall. Welcoming and tiny, chock full of surprises (OH THE BREAD). But the crown jewel is the bacalao brach when they have it and anything in between - Portuguese pork and clams? They have that and you don't have to drive to Fall River!

Growing up in a Portuguese household, you know what good Portuguese food tastes like. This restaurant is family owned and makes food that tastes like it was made at grandmas ( avos). I would highly recommend it

I am enjoying one of the best fried calamari I have ever had! Freshly cooked , served with red pepper, olives,french fries and horse radish salad. You can also buy fresh fish and other seafood there plus some Portuguese and azorean spices. And the owner is very nice. I do recommend it for lunch There are a few tables there but I had a plate to go.

Great fish very fresh. The cole slaw is delicious only wish they give you more, but you can ask for it. Great food that stays hot for take out. I strongly recommend.
