We went in Saturday night and the restaurant was overflowing with guests. We eventually found seating at the bar, if we had waited for a table it would have been at least 90 minutes. The food was good and so was the beer. Also enjoyed the live music.

This place is amazing! We waited less than a minute to be seated, and our server Crystal was the definition of professional, poignant and polite! We started with some of the mocha hazelnut coffees, and they were PERFECTLY balanced and delicious. I got the chicken tender plate with fries and applesauce, which was hot, crispy, tender, and the applesauce was fresh!

My husband got the brisket plate and let me tell you- we said ‘oh my god’ to each other about a dozen times because we couldn’t fathom how good it was. You didn’t even need a knife to cut it!

It takes a lot for me to leave a review- but damn if this spot didn’t earn it! Guarantee I’ll be back!

Smelled good, looked good, tasted great! I got the white bbq sauce. It was different from the southern style vinegar/horseradish loose style. However- very tasty!

Stopped for lunch on Thursday. Got there about 11:05, ordered at 11:10. Waitress was super friendly and nice. Very good service.
Food was amazing. Had a really great flavor and was cooked perfect.
Only complaint was, we didn’t get the food until 12:05. So if your going for lunch and only have an hour, I’d rethink it.. other than that, it was a great place! Will go back for dinner and try again.

Great place for lunch or dinner! Awesome food and unique house made sauces. Great atmosphere and service. Bonus live music on some nights!

We went here today for lunch and I’m it sure what was better the service or the food. We got their homemade toasted ravioli, house salad, spicy steak sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, and the Cuban. It was all DELICIOUS. Our waitress was very polite and fast!!! We will definitely come back

We ate lunch here for the first time. Everyone was happy with their food. The service was great and quick. Of course the restaurant was nearly empty. There is outdoor seating.
Somehow, they need to get the word out as it's hidden from view.

I could not recommend a restaurant in the Des Peres/Kirkwood area more highly!!

Excellent (possibly the best) pulled pork I've ever had. (and I'm not ashamed to say I've had a lot...) The hot sausage and butter toasted bun were also absolutely perfect. The sides were generous and not an afterthought, very tasty.

Our waitress was excellent and took the time to explain the origin of the restaurant. It seemed to be a very smoothly running operation. Will definitely be coming back frequently!

Amazing live music on Saturday night. Seated right away and food was outstanding among other bbq options in St. Louis. Affordable and the portion sizes are huge!

Went here for the first time as of August 2023, since they had a now open sign up. The appetizers of Toasted Ravioli and Pickle Spears definitely felt like they were made in house! The T Rav was made with wontons, for a good crispness. Hubby said that the fried pickles were some of the better ones he tried around here!

The chicken salad had a nice amount of smoked, warm chicken, while the chicken parmesan was tender and juicy. The buttered red potatoes had a nice toasted edge to them. The baked beans had a sweetness with some of their bbq meat stirred in. The toasted bread had a bit too much butter and garlic, so if you are sensitive to those, be wary of them. It did have good flavor though! Overall, a tasty place with sports on the TV and live music occasionally. Next time I'll try out the pulled pork!

We stopped by for dinner after some friends told us they really enjoyed it. We sat outside but had to move around to find a place the sun wasn't right in our face late in the day. The server came out and tilted one of the large umbrellas to fix the problem.

My wife ordered cod, a side salad and sweet potato fries. The cod was good but a little too greasy. I ordered the Hot Italian that was smoked pork, ham, pepperoni with pepper jack cheese and a side of marinara. It came out toasted and tasted amazing. Had to take the other half home.

First time there, but may just be my new favorite. Brisket was cooked to perfection: tender, moist, smoked and seasoned well. Perfect amount of fat trimmed. Sides and salad were excellent. Service was prompt and friendly. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommended!

Great food, excellent service in a wonderful atmosphere! This place impressed. We went to dinner back to back nights there just to try something else on the menu. I had the turkey one night and the pulled chicken another. Very good with great BBQ sauces. Highly recommend.

The staff was amazing! From getting our group of 20 a reservation on a busy Saturday night with only a few days notice to the wait staff having our appetizers ready almost as soon as we were seated all the way through desert where they brought out extra strawberries for the cheesecake. And the food was delicious, we will definitely be back.

Such a great place! Our server Lisa was on it and was so patient with all our questions. Veggie pizza was yummy and the baby back ribs with their white bbq sauce was the BEST! Highly recommended this cute place

Nice place, good service. Decent brisket, not the best I've ever had but ok. The baked beans and okra were good. Think Sugar Fire, but with better table service. The prices are right. All in all if you are in the area and in the mood for BBQ it's a decent place to go.
Plenty of easy parking. Will return.

Great 1st experience. Enjoyed the filet mignon and the turkey and pork. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We look forward to going back!

Better than expected! Very tasty BBQ with great service. My wife and I came in on a Wednesday around 5:45. I asked if they had any drink specials and the waitress said that they didn’t even have a drink menu yet, so no. I didn’t want to order a drink with no idea of how much it would cost, so we just went with waters. She did say they would have happy hour specials soon though.

I ordered a half rack of baby back ribs with two sides and garlic bread for $18. They have a lot of great options for sides – I got fried pickle spears and jalapeño mac bites. My wife got the spicy steak sandwich for $16 which included a 6 oz filet mignon and jalapeños on a sandwich with a side (she got sweet potato fries) for $16. Everything was delicious, including the BBQ sauce options. We didn’t get dessert but their dessert options sounded good, especially the fried cheesecake.

Who I assume were the owners came around to make sure we enjoyed everything, which was nice.

The one thing that would have been nice to have would be wet wipes, since I got ribs and my hands were sticky when I was done. The waitress made sure we had enough napkins, at least.

As we were leaving, it looked like a band was setting up to play some live music. I have no idea how often they have that.

We never made it to Circa Pub & Grill which was in this space before, so I can’t compare how much the interior changed, but it has a nice ambiance.

We have been looking for a good BBQ place in Des Peres ever since Rib City closed and I think we have found our new go-to. I’ll certainly keep an eye out for more details on happy hour and live music.

I ordered the Sawmill salad with brisket. It was huge! There was a ton of meat and the lettuce was leafy and fresh. I Will definitely order it again!
The potato skins were soft and flavorful with pulled pork on top, yummy
