My girlfriend and I had a great time here last night. Solid international wine and liquor selection. Crab cake was one of the best I’ve had and tuna tartar was also delicious. We both got the beef Wellington which lived up to the hype. We got the mushrooms and Mac and cheese as a side. Both great but the mac and cheese could use a touch more salt to lift the cheese flavor even more. Service from Michael was top tier. He had great menu knowledge, recommendations, and passion for the restaurant. We’ll certainly be back.

Stopped in for dinner with a couple of friends.  The decor of the restaurant is nice and the location is convenient.  I've never been to any of his other restaurants so was excited to give this place a try. Overall, I'd say all the other reviews are very accurate.  Nothing here is outstanding but it's also not bad.  The one clear theme is that it's all overpriced. - The tuna tartare was good but a small portion and overpriced. - The chicken wings I did not enjoy as they were soggy and not crispy.  Also overpriced. - The beef wellington was interesting.  My first time trying this.  I wasn't a fan but I can see how others may like it.  Probably overpriced. - Potato puree side was good but also overpriced I think the review accurately reflects this restaurant.  Everything is just OK but overpriced. Hi Roman, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed in your visit. We will make sure our team is working to correct the issues you experienced and we hope you will visit us again. - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

We were excited to try this restaurant for our anniversary. We always follow Gordon Ramsey cooking shows on TV. This did not disappoint. We really enjoyed the casual atmosphere with spectacular food! Our waiter, Theo, was very attentive & spot on with recommendations. The Beef Wellington was amazing from presentation to flavor. The scallops were delicious, wish there were more than three! The crab cake is not like a New England crab cake, absolutely delicious! The best was the sticky toffee pudding dessert .... literally to die for!! Thank you for a great experience!

I visited Ramsay's Kitchen in Boston. The "Prestige Martini" was nothing to brag about. I don't understand why it's served in this small glass. Didn't feel like I was drinking a cocktail- for sure not special. The Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection. The BK plant base burger taste too real for me. I thought is was a veggie burger, but instead it was more like an impossible burger, not my thing. The sticky toffee pudding was good.  The decor is beautiful but not impressed with the drinks or the vegetarian options.

Excellent place!!!! The food was delicious (Wellington beef and toffee dessert). My waiter, Mario, has been excellent also. All of his recommendations were amazing. He was always paying attention if I needed anything. Definitely I will came back!!!

My brother and I went to Ramsay's kitchen for lunch today and it was great! To drink I had the margarita which was yummy. The tuna tartare and crab cake starters were delicious!! We also got the king crab sushi roll to start which I was not as impressed with. For entrees I had the fish and chips which was sooo good..the batter on the fish was so yummy and the fish itself was fresh and moist. My bro got the beef Wellington which he said was amazing. Also got the potato purée and mushrooms as sides which were both flavorful and delicious. Lastly we got the sticky toffee pudding which was delicious, very sweet but the crème fraiche ice cream cut the sweetness perfectly. The atmosphere was nice, not too stuffy, and the service was great. Our server helped us with the menu and gave us great recommendations. So basically 4/5 stars because the sushi was not the best in my opinion, but overall a great experience and would come back again.

I will likely be echoing the majority of reviewers when I say the food was amazing but the price was a big kick to the wallet. However, keeping in mind that you are paying for the expertise and name of THE Gordon Ramsay, my rating is based on the food alone - and it was delicious! My must tries are the scallops, tuna tartare, toffee cake dessert and of course, the beef wellington. The cook on the beef was absolute perfection. It does fall apart easily due to the yummy flakey crust but hey, the flavors are all there. I've seen countless videos of the famous scallops online and it was just as beautiful in person. Amazing cook and garnishing (obviously). For the tuna, I loved whatever it was that they marinated the fish with. In retrospect, it seems like a relatively average dish but I definitely enjoyed it. And lastly, the toffee cake was the perfect way to end the meal. Not too sweet, addicting texture, and filled with flavor. I also tried the crab cake, fish n chips and eton mess. The crab cake was very good but the other two were not as much to my liking. I think I stopped by a fish n chips spot by Gordon in las vegas and it definitely tasted better there. Overall, awesome food, very glad I tried it out! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your visit, Christine! We look forward to seeing you again soon, thank you for sharing your feedback with us! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

My friends and I made this reservation back in Feb and we finally got a chance to try it out. Definitely didn't really have much of an expectation just because we have heard mixed reviews of this place. From my stance, everything was good, but nothing super WOW and blew my mind. There was five of us and we decided to share everything, just because it is expensive. Excluding desserts, this is what we got in ranking from best to worse (although the worse isn't bad just not my fave) : Crab Cake, Scallops, tuna tartare, beef wellington, fish and chips. Both desserts were great, the sticky toffee pudding was a lot better than the eton mess since i personally found the eton too sweet. Nothing was really filling, besides the beef wellington if one person ate it. I wouldn't come again, however, i definitely would suggest coming to try once. It regards to service, our waiter Christian was nice and was very attentive!

Food was tasty and well-executed --  certainly not "haute cuisine" but I don't think that is the goal of this concept. Excellent service and stylish yet relaxed setting. There is a lot of room for improvement on the wine list --  especially the selection of wines by the glass is unimaginative, and the one I had tasted very generic and unidimensional. Quite a shortcoming for a restaurant of this caliber. Thank you for your feedback, Philipp! We are so glad you enjoyed your meal and we hope to see you again soon! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

Was very excited to take the wife here for our anniversary. grabbed an illegal parking spot and prayed for no ticket and went in to check in. was very seamless and we were sat right away. they were accommodating to our request of a booth vs the table we were headed to. We sat with the menu and waited. and waited and waited. not sure what happened but i historically start my timer out of curiosity to a new plqce. mind you i know places are short staffed.  but first it was 2:45. so not that crazy busy.  second. we waited 17 minutes before i asked the water person who our server was and that we sat for 15 min. 2 min later the manager came over and apologized and took our order. so now we will wait. Server came with our drinks and apologized for the miscommunication. Shit happens. But still. Someone dropped the ball in this fancy place. Now for the food. I ordered of course the Wellington. Done to perfection. The wife had fish and chips. Interesting coating on the fry. Was good though. But a bit different. The 3 way potatoes w truffle was good too. All in all a good experience but way to over priced. $190 for 2 meals 3 sides. And we don't even drink.

The restaurant was fantastic, the staff was great and very knowledgeable. We had the Beef Wellington that was perfect. The crab cake was delicious. We, party of 5 had a reservation for 615pm , arrived 605 pm . It took until 630pm to seat us we were told they had to get the table ready.  Had a super nice waiter who clearly had too many tables.  They served us all warm water , I asked for a club soda and daughter ordered a drink. Also asked for ice cubes since the water was literally luke warm.  It took about 15 min to get ice cubes and maybe 20 to 25 min to finally get my club soda.  Since it took so long our waiter brought me 2 glasses of cub soda which I found helpful but in other words service would still be lacking . Waiter took our order for appetizers. We ordered the crab cake, 6 oysters , the tuna  tartare and we  were dying to try Gordons famous chicken wings. But they had no wings  though clearly on the menu .  Appetizers came out fairly fast and it was delicious.  By then we started to get warm since the restaurant decided to save money  on the A/C bill , open all the windows and let all people sit in a stuffy very warm room.   Took a while to clear our plates and they did not wipe down the table.  We ordered 4 Beef Wellingtons and my husband ordered Fish&Chips. I also ordered broccolini which I found way undercooked. Husband said it was the best fish he ever had everyone liked the Wellington but the sauce was for me way too salty. Dessert  to me was a waste of money our cheese cake too sweet really not good at all. The sticky toffee pudding was outstanding  and so was the chocolate pot de creme. I am giving it a 4 . The restaurant is so very expensive one expects 100% perfection.  Its really a gimmick something I always wanted to do but I don't need to go back. Hi Susanne, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us from your recent visit to our restaurant. We are sorry to hear that you and your party experience some issues regarding your service. We apologize for the disappointment and we hope you will visit us again for a better dining experience. - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

Highly recommend making a visit here! It was worth the money! Great service and very friendly staff. The food was delicious and I'm a vegetarian and loves the options I had!! I got the Chickpea tikka masala and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the lobster roll and we got a side of broccolini and truffle potatoes. For dessert, I highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding which is Gordon's mother's recipe! Loved all the options, would definitely return again in the future! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed dining with us, Ashley! We look forward to seeing you again soon! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

You and me both know the dirty boys sit down with a Dominos pizza watching Gordon Ramsay screaming at people for hours on end while we scream at the TV back dirty boys love Mr. ram safe so after about nine years of saving up quarters in the jar we took them down to the new restaurant we thought to ourselves dirtyboys are about to get screamed at by a dirty dirty man and we love it next things next as we sit down and we realize that it's not a dirty restaurant it's too clean for the dirty boys in fact we're not sure exactly how to handle something so clean as the dirty boys enjoy their dirty days pushing forward the dirty boys all nine of us manage to squeeze into a reservation for two and we realize that we're all gonna have to share one meal as well as the dirty boys only have about $47 in nickels pennies and occasional quarters but boil boy every single tiny piece of the dirty boys got into their mouth was heaven next time the dirty boys come we won't just mean it when we say keep the change Dirtyboys seal of approval

I made reservations back in March, and I was really excited to try Gordon Ramsey's only restaurant in Boston. I was especially looking forward to Chef Ramsey's famous Beef Wellington, but sadly, it was underwhelming(6/10), The puff pastry was too salty and the beef was chewy and not really tender/juicy. The scallops and pork belly were pretty good though (9/10)! My favorite was the sticky toffee pudding (10/10)!  The tuna tartare was pretty average; I feel like I could get it at any sushi restaurant (7/10). The texture was perfect and the flavors were immaculate, I'd definitely come back for it! The service was great, and I love that the bar had midori sours! Hi Grace, We are so glad you could dine with us, however, we are sorry to hear that parts of your meal were disappointing. We greatly appreciate your feedback and we hope to see you again for a positive dining experience. - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

I was celebrating my 25th birthday here and to say I was impressed is an understatement! It was by far the BEST over all experience Dining in Boston I've ever had! Our server Max went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied! His smile alone stole our hearts! If you choose to eat anywhere in Boston. Please choose Ramsey's Kitchen.

We came here on a date night and had a great experience. We decided to order family style so we could try more things on the menu instead of just getting two entrees. In order of most favorite to least favorite: mac & cheese, truffle potatoes, broccolini, & balsamic flatbread. We ordered the chocolate mousse pudding brownie thing for dessert and realllllly liked it. Ambience is sub-par, for the way things are priced it feels very "chain restaurant" in there (4 TVs on the walls near us). Service was great, though! They really have options for everyone: I'm vegetarian & our waitress made sure to check that all the dishes we ordered were veg-safe. For example, the mac wasn't marked as such on the menu but she confirmed with the chef, and I suspected a few others weren't marked just because of parmesan (which I do eat even though it's not technically vegetarian), and she confirmed there was no meat or broths in those. I would like to see more options on the menu, maybe like a ravioli dish or an eggplant parm, or just a few other appetizers? Regardless, I would definitely come again and maybe try something else!

My partner and I visited Ramsay's Kitchen last week while visiting Boston. It was my partner's birthday and we were very excited to try the famous beef wellington dish. While the food was amazing, our server Michael was definitely the reason our date night was so special. Michael helped us navigate the extensive wine menu, and even suggested a few of their favorite dishes and drinks. Let me tell you -- everything they suggested was a hit (specifically the jumbo crab cake and the spiced pear cocktail were phenomenal!). Michael's warm and inviting personality, combined with the amazing food made this a date night (and birthday) my partner and I will never forget!

What a cool experience to dine at Gordon Ramsay's new spot on Boylston Street! The bartender Rob is the man and made me want to come back for a drink and the Beef Wellington. But for lunch on a weekday, the RK Burger is an exceptional deal and the lattes were great too! Wow, thank you, Alex! We are so glad you enjoyed your visit, we will make sure to highlight Rob for his excellent service! We hope you will visit us again soon! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

This was our first visit and it was an amazing experience. Our server, Michael, was fun and made some great suggestions for food and beverages. After a very long wait to get a reservation, I was able to enjoy dinner at Boston's latest Ramsay restaurant. It was really good, but not the world-class level of food you would expect if it was cooked by Gordon Ramsay himself. You can see a lot of his favorites on the menu, from fish and chips to the beef wellington, and the whole place is decorated in a trendy and modern way. On to the food! Beef wellington: plated well, looked how I would want it to look and cooked to my liking. Meat was tender and juicy. I think the flavor would have excelled if there was more red wine demi glaze on the side. Parts of it were a little chewy and it was not the most flavorful steak I'd ever had. Potato puree on the side was creamy and good! Crab cake: super tasty, huge crab chunks, loved the sauce on the side and the amount of sauce you get with the amount of food you get. Baked mac and cheese: crispy on the top and creamy on the bottom, great accompaniment to any meal. Or honestly could have been a meal itself. Tuna tartare: probably my favorite thing I tried! Flavorful tuna, perfectly and precisely cut avocado, good wonton chips to scoop with. Five stars. Cocktails: very good! The Old Cuban had a silly amount of basil but the drink itself was good. The spiced pear was delicious and I'd get it again.

Coming here for lunch was such a pleasure. The best service was given by our waiter John, who was really pleasant. A fantastic pairing that was bursting with flavors was the crab cake and arugula salad. However one crab cake is the serving size, which for the price may not be worth it. Additionally delicious was the king crab sushi. The lobster roll was terrific, incredibly authentic, and buttery. Simply put, the seafood here tasted so fresh. Even while the sticky toffee pudding was a bit too sweet on its own, when combined with an expresso martini, it found the ideal balance. Perfect way to end it all. Everything was superb. I will definitely be coming back.

Finally got here and the wait was so worth it! Exceptional service from entry to exit. Every employee encountered was pleasant and did their job well. Our waiter Michael was the friendliest, most welcoming, and knowledgeable server, so glad we had him! He made the experience

My mom and I went here for dinner and it was great. I've watched all of Gordon Ramsays shows so I needed to go here. Her and I both ordered the beef Wellington. It was so good and I saved half of it to bring home to my husband because he is a fan too. It was so tender and cooked to perfection. I do wish they put a bit more of the mashed potato cause that was yummy too. Now for our server. Michael was amazing, he was so funny and kind! I'm hoping to come back with my husband in the future and hopefully we will have Michael as our server again.

Everything I could have hoped for!! My first Gordon Ramsay restaurant experience and I could not have been happier! I did not have a reservation but my boyfriend and I were able to sit at the bar which was full service. The food was phenomenal - the toffee pudding was a huge highlight!! The staff was also very kind and helpful! Very much worth the price! Wow, thank you, Barbara! My wife and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary on Friday the 15th.  We had a fantastic evening. The food was unbelievable, as expected. I had the Wellington and my wife had the Scallops. I've never had a piece of beef so tender in my life. The scallops were fresh and beautifully cooked. Though the food was better than anything in recent memory, what really made our night special was our waiter Michael. He was knowledgeable and attentive (and quite fun to be around). He sold us on the maitake mushroom side. I'm soo glad he did. Super tasty.  Being in the industry myself, I'd like to comment that you have a valuable asset in Michael. Make sure you keep him around. We will be absolutely asking for him as our waiter the next time we visit.

Visited Ramsay's Kitchen which is in Boston's Back Bay at the Mandarin Oriental. They took the space formerly occupied by Bar Boulud, which was very nice, and made a very aesthetically pleasing medium sized restaurant. We started the evening at the bar for cocktails. They have very good cocktails options at the full liquor bar, as well as many options for wine. You can also dine at the bar. Service here was very good. They are attentive to the consumer's needs. The menu has a good variety including seafood, beef, and vegetarian items. I very much enjoyed the crab cake appetizer which was a pan seared crab cake that was full of crab meat and basically no filler. The Beef Wellington was excellent with really tender filet of beef. It's a very savory and tasty dish. Overall, Ramsay's Kitchen is an excellent spot for a meal in Boston. Thank you, Matthew! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed dining with us, we look forward to seeing you again very soon! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

It didn't hold up to its reputation (or price point...), I was expecting more. Our waitress was nice and the food came out fairly quickly. The mocktails were all spicy and had waaay too much Tajin seasoning. It feels like they needed to make everything really spicy to make up for the lack of alcohol. The Beet salad was great, definitely recommend that. My mom had the Wellington and she said it was "good", but I was expecting more of a reaction since that is supposed to be the signature dish. I had the scallops, but it was $49 for four small scallops - no sides or anything. Seriously not worth the price. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was good. I liked that it wasn't super sweet. Hi Rebecca, We are sorry to hear that you and your mom were disappointed in your mocktails and meal. We greatly appreciate your feedback and will work to improve, if you have any additional comments feel free to reach out to guestrelations@grna.com. Thank you - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

Having been to most of Gordon's Las vegas locations we were excited to see this restaurant while visiting Boston. Lots of recognizable dishes from his other menus. Can't go wrong.  I went with the fish n chips and they were excellent. The truffle potatoes are also a must order item. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your visit, Ray! Went to Ramseys Kitchen last night and it exceeded our expectations. We saw many reviews  that worried us but we got a great night.  Our waiter Kyree was so attentive as was the manager Jack.  We had a couple issues that were handled quickly and made us all happy (ending in free desserts).  The crab cakes were our favorite appetizer. The king crab sushi roll was also good.  I tried the tartare and was not a fan. It tasted fine but the flavor was in the crab cakes.  For dinners the strip steak was so incredibly tender!  The burger huge and the beef Wellington was very good. The sticky toffee pudding was tear inducing.  Couldn't talk. Just savored.   My husband would not share his Eton Mess and scraped the dish clean. We enjoyed the whole experience and would go again.

  • Jul 16, 2022 by Chris Z.

Had an excellent birthday dinner here, beef welly was outstanding and our server was awesome. Tuna tartare was super fresh and perfectly dressed up. The free birthday desert was also a nice touch. (Gotta try that sticky toffee pudding)

As a big fan of Gordon ramsay and his restaurants I was excited to finally have one of his restaurants in Boston! Only issue was when I went to get a reservation there was nothing available between 4:30pm-9pm for months. I made a Res for 2 months away and forgot about it until the day came. To start, our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Also their wine list is extensive and had a good variety to choose from. With the hot weather I went with an Alsace white wine and it was delicious! We also tried a German mosel wine which was great as well. I got the scallops as my main and also tried the beef Wellington, along with the Mac n cheese and mushrooms for sides. All were very good. The scallops were my favorite and I was full without being stuffed. I would probably skip the mushrooms next time as they were good but not great. The menu is pretty similar to most of Gordon's other restaurants with some additions hailing ingredients from local sources which is typical of his style. Definitely get dessert! The sticky toffee pudding and lemon cheesecake were both amazing. I'd go back but I don't know if it is worth another 2 month wait for a reasonable dinner time. Great for a special occasion ! We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your visit, Celina! We can't wait for you to dine with us again! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

We flew into town late and we're dead tired. The only thing keeping us going was our 8:45 reservations at Ramsays Kitchen... Incredibly hungry, we thought to call to see if we could get the reservation pushed forward, and.... YES! They had a cancellation and we're more then happy to take us early. Sweet, 8 could not come fast enough. We get there and we are seated instantly (8pm sharp) and our Server Max came and greeted us. He was very personable and showed a great passion for "food science" as he called it. We ordered our favorites (from previous experience at the Ramsay restaurants in NV) and they were spot on. The truffle potatoes were perfect, tuna, potato purée, the Wellington was exceptional, the sticky toffee pudding was exactly how we remembered ..  could not ask for better food! But the key note was the service. Max was top notch and made the meal. His timing, table service and personality were great but what made it was his knowledge and passion for the food. He took the time to explain the cooking process of these complicated dishes and "food science" but he did it in a way that seemed like casual conversation. 1000000% would come here again! 10/10 service 9.4/10 food

This is the first time I dine at Ramsay's Kitchen. I would break this review down into categories. Environment: the restaurant was set up very nicely, clean, organized. They also adjust the lighting, so it gives you a different vibe. The seats are spacious, so you won't feel crowded in there. Service: The servers were incredible, they keep checking back to see how's everything going. Also they fill water up really quick despite the fact when they are busy. Food: It was amazing. They didn't only use the Ramsay name, the food actually was good as expected. We got the crab cake and tuna tartare as appetizer. Crab cake was loaded with crab meat, the tuna tartare was well seasoned and fresh. For our main course we got the Wellington steak and fish n chips. Wellington steak was definitely as must try, the presentation, taste, meat quality, sauce/seasoning, all on point. Fish n Chips was average, nothing too special. Price: it was actually not bad at all. Because we were celebrating birthday, they even set up a surprise desert which is their signature Toffee Pudding. The only reason why they only got a 4 stars from me was because of the wait time between the appetizer and the main course. After the appetizers, it literally took them 50 minutes to send those main courses to the table. This was the only down part for the entire experience, if that didn't happen they would have gotten 5 stars from me for sure. Thank you for your feedback, Kevin! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed dining with us, we can't wait for you to visit us again soon! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

I had higher expectations for this restaurant. The beef Wellington was cooked perfectly, but the inside pastry had a green sauce which thew off the dish. It was my birthday and the only thing I received was a long wait. It look 30 minutes to clear our plates after we were done eating. The waiter came by twice and said someone would be right over. It never happened. We waited 50 minutes from the time we were done eating until we actually received the check. So many workers standing around not helping. The Indian chickpea dish was very good. Would not go back. Food was okay, but not worth the money. The service was too slow and not attentive!

very average and overpriced. the server was excellent and the cocktails were very good. the food was mediocre. the flatbread appetizer, meh, fish and chips. way too much batter and overpower potato flavor, no taste of the fish.very good chips. two other entrees were mediocre as well. is it worth a return, probably not. being in the mandarin will attra  the tourist. locals will try it but probably not return

We had the best time at Ramsay’s Kitchen. We arrived to Boston to celebrate our wedding anniversary and could not have been more delighted with the entire experience. The restaurant is in a great location. It is beautifully decorated and has a relaxed feel. Our waitress, Michelle, was incredible. She was super personable, attentive, and knew every item on the menu like the back of her hand. She made sure we had a above and beyond positive experience. Very professional and very kind. Everything was timely and absolutely delicious. This is the best food I think I have ever eaten in my life. We will definitely be coming back and cannot wait to come to another restaurant by Gordon Ramsay. Hopefully, all of the waitstaff and food is as wonderful at every location. We loved it!

Much to my own personal astonishment, the sudden discovery that this place exists is both the best thing and the worst thing. The best thing is that I have access to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant well within driving distance. The worst thing is that it's smack dab in the midst of f*#king Boston. Let's get this part out of the way right now. Guys....navigating to this place can be a friggin' nightmare, especially if you're not from around here. It's not that it's difficult to find; to the contrary. But you have to remember this is a very busy city. And in Boston, it's pretty much useless to own a car. Alas, us out-of-towners have to deal. And so I offer you all this solid piece of advice: mind the locals and pedestrians, know precisely which lane you need to be in before making a turn, and be sure to use the Prudential parking lot and not drive past it like a dingus the way I did. Btw, there is no free parking in Boston. But there IS free Wi-Fi inside of Ramay's Kitchen. So, arrive with your wallets full and your stomachs empty. Onto the menu.. Connecticut Lobster Roll: Not quite what I was expecting, flavor wise. The best way to describe it is....subtle, yet elegant. It wasn't bad, but not necessarily a favorite appetizer of mine either. I usually like mine with a bit more salt and lemon. 7 out of 10, give it a go and maybe request salt on the side. Caesar salad: This is easily the greatest salad I've ever tasted! I'm not even remotely kidding. Perfectly dressed with a deliciously poached egg and croutons so full of flavor, you can hear your own tongue singing. Though the lettuce quality control could use some work (less chalky pieces, fellas), I'm giving this one a 9 out of 10. Totally getting this the next time we visit. Beef Wellington: You already know. Do I even NEED to explain? I mean, what's not to love about a legit filet mignon carefully wrapped in a flaky, crispy puff pastry? 10 out of f*#king 10! I don't even care that it fell apart on my knife because it still tasted bloody amazing! Baked Mac n' Cheese: Okay. So, I've been known to be a stickler when it comes to baked mac n' cheese. Back home, it's basically my signature side dish. Having said that, this one's...pretty good. The cheesiness was definitely there and the breadcrumbs were a nice touch. I felt like it was under seasoned though. As mentioned, you'll have to request salt and pepper since it's never kept out in fine dining restaurants. But anyway, after seasoning it up, it tasted way better. Only other thing is I wish they used sharper cheese. 8 out of 10. Sticky Toffee Pudding: Hang it up, folks! You will never find another dessert on this planet that surpasses this one. They upped the standards on this baby with a vanilla ice cream infused with crème fraîche. The way it all blends with the chocolate and sauce is just....*mwah*, chef's kiss! Another 10 out of 10. The service here is outstanding! You're gonna feel like royalty walking in. Our server Ross (who wasn't even our original server, mind you) was very knowledgeable of the Chef Ramsay lore, as well as the menu. He definitely made this anniversary dinner an extra special one. One thing I think this place should get checked out is the leveling of their tables. When we first sat down, we had to immediately switch tables because it wobbled to-and-fro. And then the one busser dude (kid looked 15, honestly) was attempting to fix the levels while we were STILL SITTING AT THE TABLE. It was awkward for all parties. But upon reseating (at yet another wobbly table, but whatever), we made the most of the evening. Sufficed to say, it was an evening that will no doubt go down in history. Ramsay's Kitchen receives 5 brilliantly cooked Beef Wellingtons out of 5. Next time I come here, I wanna try the fish n' chips.

Food was amazing for me it lived up to the hype. The server was awesome and was very nice. I would go back there again 100%

We were waited on by both Michael P and Sophia and felt very welcomed. I mentioned I had a dietary need and they were very attentive making sure that the food I ordered would not cause me any sickness. We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and wouldn't have wanted anything different in the level of service we were provided during our time dining there. The food that we were served was very tasteful and the portions were just the right size. I was very excited to have met the chef as well as received a tour of the kitchen by Cat. We will definitely be returning to this location again for another dining experience.

Was there to celebrate my anniversary, and loved it. Staff was kind and respectful. The food was good. Honesty the the signature dessert was to die for. Thank you

  • Jul 01, 2022 by Anthony G.

Service was great. Friendly and helpful servers. Drinks were okay. Food was good. We got the crab cake to start which was very fresh and fluffy. Then we had our main dishes which included the beef Wellington and the seafood and saffron broth dish. The seafood was just okay. The lobster was a little chewy and overcooked the rest of that dish was good. Flavors were on point. The beef Wellington melts in your mouth. No complaints with that dish. We got a side of truffle potatoes and although good they weren't great so I wouldn't get those again. For dessert we got the pudding. It was delicious!

Awesome place for a guy's night out! We walked in no reservations. Got a table immediately (at the bar) service and food was excellent. Had to get the signature dish the Beef Wellington! I don't like mushrooms normally but I ate the entire Wellington meat, pastry, and mushrooms. The desserts blew me away. I don't normally associate Chef Ramsey with desserts but they were fantastic!

  • Jun 26, 2022 by Heather D.

Danielle was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing! She recommended the BEST food! We had the Beef Wellington, Pan-Seared Scallops, and the Filet. All of the food was amazing! The only issue was 2 drunk people at the bar who were arguing with each other the whole time we were there. It was loud and disruptive as it was right next to my table.

I made reservations 4 months prior for a party of 5. Two days before our reservation I called to inquire if I could add an additional person last minute to which they allowed. Upon arrival for an 8:30 pm spot we arrived to three hostess, two of which appeared very young. I introduced myself and my party and the hostess stated to me that our table was just finishing up and once cleared would be seated. Twenty minutes later my party and I were awkwardly still waiting to be seated. A member of my party at one point asked the female hostess what was going on to which she stated she had,  "asked someone to clean the table awhile ago." Upsetting to hear and frankly irritating as you would think upon arrival at an upscale new restaurant in the city you would want your parties to be seated promptly. Especially after making a reservation 4 months prior. The hostess was unapologetic and did not appear to care whatsoever. We were finally seated after a random team member quickly set our table. I'm very respectful of the food industry and how hard everyone works and typically do not complain but I did tell the woman who seated us that I was concerned at having to wait 20 min to be seated and ran off the reasons why. She appeared semi apologetic and proceeded to seat our party. Very shortly thereafter our waiter Ross approached us and was immediately apologetic that our party had to wait to be seated. He proceeded to tell us we would be provided with three different appetizers at no cost. We all enjoyed the tuna tar tar, crab cake, and chicken wings. All with incredible presentation, satisfying portions, and delicious flavor. Ross was extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu including back stories of Mr Ramsey growing up and how he came about opening his several locations. A friend and I split a bottle of 2014 Robert Taylor Pinot Nior. Another member of our party ordered the Prestige martini, with the others ordered a Boston inferno which is an old fashioned. All of us enjoyed our drinks and they all lived up to the praise Ross gave. Next we all ordered our entrees which included the 8oz filet, chickpea Marsala, scallops, rib eye, and fish and chips. While it felt like we waited awhile for our entrees Ross would continue to frequently engage with us and make us feel comfortable. Upon arrival of our food, everything was perfectly portioned and the presentation was spot on. The filet was incredible and had a natural flavor that I had not tasted before. I also ordered the potato purée on the side which was exquisite. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Next was the dessert presentation. Ross is incredibly knowledgeable of really the entire menu from start to finish. We each ordered a variety of desserts including the toffee pudding and lemon cheesecake. While I did not try the toffee pudding others in my party did and described it as light, a sufficient portion, and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed the lemon cheesecake. A subtle lemon taste with the perfect amount of graham cracker crust on a thin bed of raspberry sauce, amazing! Overall the experience was very good. Ross certainly made up for the first 20 min of disappointment. Beautiful setting, albeit a bit loud at times. Would absolutely go back, food was incredible.

My wife and I went on 6/17/22... Service...  while our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and honest, we felt rushed...  typically at a place that demands this price I would have expected to at least be able to finish my cocktail w/out being asked 3 times if I was ready to order.  However, I did not blame this on our server as I suspect the location is more about turning tables as I do not feel the same at other restaurants in the area like Abe & Louie's, Capital Grille, etc. Food - Overall excellent!  Well presented and delicious.  Portions were good.  We had the Caesar Salad for an app...  it was well portioned and easily satisfied the two of us...  My wife had the Beef Wellington and I had the scallops...  both did not disappoint. Drinks - This was a problem...  we order a "bartender-101" drink called a Paper Plane...  equal parts of 4 items - very simple - should be basic knowledge for a professional bartender in a restaurant asking $22 for a 4 oz drink..  Anyway, first drink was good.  I ordered another and it was not made or served properly (wrong glass, incorrect ingredients)...  I was very surprised by this...  how do you make one good drink then fail miserably on the second?  Anyway, I was not going to choke down a $22 mistake, so I returned the drink.  Apparently the bar tender became very upset and declined to make a replacement...  Our waitress had to convince one of the servers to make the drink....  not good. This is an expensive restaurant but the value is just not there...  I would honestly rather spend my money at Grill23 or Capital Grille.  If Ramsay's wants to compete with the others in the area they need to rely less on a name and step up their game...  perhaps start at the bar. Hi Marc, We are very sorry to hear that you had a poor dining experience in our restaurant. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. You can send any additional feedback to guestrelations@grna.com. - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

Michael made our visit an experience and did a great job at picking out dishes that hit the spot. The Tuna Tartare was a great start.  Beef Ellington was rich and juicy. Not sure about the raw carrots though.  Bouillabaisse was good.  Scallops were good although only four.  Topped off by Toffee pudding and Eton Mess and we could not decide which was best.

Took my work team out for an appreciation dinner to celebrate a few recent birthdays and a team member's promotion last night and had a wonderful time! Our server, Michael, took care of us and was an absolute delight every time they came to the table. They went above any beyond to connect with us and make sure we had everything we needed. The food was fantastic and the drinks we're top tier. They made sure all dietary restrictions and allergies were well noted and covered. We might make this a yearly tradition! Wow, thank you, Siri! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed dining with us! We look forward to seeing you again! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

My boyfriend and I  just had the most amazing experience with Yvonne as our waitress. She was polite, attentive, warm and friendly. To be honest our time there started off a little rocky with our original waiter, who seemed to have forgotten about us. Yvonne noticed we had been waiting for an extended period of time, stepped in and took over as our waitress. We could not have asked for a better waitress for our fist time visiting. For her first week on the job she is doing great and has a bright future. Gordon would be proud!

  • Jun 19, 2022 by Sandy H.

We were here for a birthday dinner and got the Beef Wellington& Seared Sea Scallops and it was amazing! The scallops were perfectly cooked and went super well with the pork belly. My fiancé got the Beef Wellington and he had no complaints!

  • Jun 19, 2022 by Julia T.

Lighting here is very intimate and dark. Music is not too loud in my opinion. I sat in the back room. My waiter was Danny (Danyel) who was very polite and attentive. Here at RK, they prefer to have everything ordered at once including entrees so be prepared ! Food takes awhile so best to know what you want ahead of time and order right when the waiter asks you lol. The lobster roll was my absolute favorite. So felicitous. The tuna tartare was okay. Fish and chips were not all that. I've had better shockingly. The RK burger was nothing special either. The Mac n cheese was very loose not very thick and creamy. The mashed potato purée was delicious. The maitake mushrooms were good. Was salty and sweet. The lemon cheesecake and the toffee pudding both magnificent omg so good. Last but not least the beef Wellington. Reading reviews i had a feeling it will come out rare. I talked to the waiter and he said if it's rare I can return the dish and get a new one. However we waited about 45 mins for our entree. Very disappointing since Gordon is famous for his medium rare perfection Wellington's. Too bad all the ones at his restaurant are so rare!!! It was very smooth and easy to cut. Delicious flavoring however the salt on top was so salty. You can probably see the rock salt in the photo on top too. Way too salty for my liking and way too rare! I'd def prob come back for the lobster roll and the desserts unfortunately. A bit disappointed since I love Gordon! Expected way more for his restaurant. Especially his famous medium rare beef Wellington!

We had a wonderful dinner! Michael was terrific! He asked what we were celebrating and made our evening special. He recommended the best wine, knew all about the dishes  and was pleasant, funny and attentive. The beef wellington and bouillabaisse were very good. The sticky toffee pudding is not to be missed and the Eton mess was interesting but very good. We will return!

  • Jun 19, 2022 by Danielle H.

well if its not to come for the food, it's to come for the waiter Michael. He was so lovely and told the best jokes. Made the whole experience even better

  • Jun 19, 2022 by Uyen L.

Overall a good experience. We were served by Michael and he was super attentive. The steaks we ordered were a little too salty for our taste. But I would still recommend this place

  • Jun 18, 2022 by Patrick H.

Michael was the most amazing waiter. He provided recommendations for everything and was constantly making great conversation and making my wife and I feel at home. When I briefly mentioned my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary in a few weeks, he gave us free dessert! I honestly can't say enough nice things about Michael. This was probably the best restaurant experience I've ever had.

  • Jun 18, 2022 by Reagan C.

The restaurant is a little more expensive than it's worth in my opinion, but the crab cake was the best I've ever tasted, and the sticky toffee pudding was one of the most delicious desserts I've ever tried. The restaurant is worth a try just for the dessert. Don't skip it.

  • Jun 18, 2022 by Fahim R.

Went here with my wife for our anniversary. As you would expect for a restaurant in the Mandarin Oriental, the setting was really nice and service was good. We got to sit by the window which they opened up to the street. I ordered the salmon which might have been the best salmon I've ever eaten. I was even able to eat the skin, which I usually don't like. My wife had the scallops, which tasted a little salty to me. Prices are really high as expected, so not somewhere I would expect to come back to often, but would go again for a special occasion. The main negative is there was no bread service. We were both quite hungry an hour after eating, but that often happens at places like this.

Ate at Ramsays Kitchen yesterday afternoon. Our twins were graduating from middle school and this was the place they picked. Made reservations a few months in advance. Elizabeth, our server was excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Food was excellent. Appetizer - the sushi which was excellent. I ordered beet salad with crab cake for my meal. Both excellent. Other entrees were scallops, beef Wellington and also the filet. All cooked perfectly. Puréed potatoes were delicious.  Elizabeth recommended the sticky toffee pudding- which was amazing.  We sat at a table near the windows which was open on the sidewalk. We enjoyed that as it was a beautiful day. Overall great experience.

I had high expectations for this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious. We had the tartare, crab cake and beef Wellington and all three were fresh and flavorful. The service was on par with the best we have ever experienced. Michael, our sever anticipated all our needs, guided us expertly through the menu and was warm and entertaining. Even my hard to please fiancé was impressed. We will be back!

We stopped in for lunch and it was an amazing experience.  From the service with our phenomenal server Michael, to every course  of our meal, we were blown away. We are looking forward to dining here again very soon and trying everything on the menu!

When I learned my husband's favorite celebrity chef was opening a restaurant in Boston, I knew I had to get him there. We had to make reservations months in advance. Sometimes all that anticipation can leave the experience feeling a little lackluster. This situation was not that. From the moment we entered the chic establishment, we were greeted with cheerful and professional attendants. We were seated within moments, even though we were 40 minutes early (traffic was lighter than expected). The ambience was quiet but light. And then our server arrived. Michael was nothing short of an experience in himself... you know how you can tell when someone is good at what they do, but it's clear they don't like it? Yeah. This was not Michael. Michael exudes service. Michael is funny and engaging but not overbearing. We felt Michael brought us along on a journey. He seemed genuinely excited to involve us in his clear passion for the restaurant he loves. His charm was not only in his friendly banter, but in his knowledge of the ingredients and menu. The food blew our minds. It was late so we skipped starters and went right to dinner. The Wellington was incredible. The beef was so tender it nearly melted in your mouth. The flavors came to life on every bite. The salty, buttery crisp of the pastry perfectly balanced the sweetness of the ham. The earthy duck perfectly opposed the sweetness of the beef. In short it was amazing. The fish and chips offered their own delights. The delicate, fresh haddock was blanketed in a sweet batter that had the perfect crisp. Chef Ramsay's tartar sauce is out of this world. It's difficult to describe how the bright lemon contrasted the fresh dill met in a creamy sauce that enhanced not overshadowed the fish. Honestly the evening as a whole delivered the exact wow factor I was seeking for a celebration of all my husband's accomplishments as a man and an incredible dad. Four very enthusiastic thumbs up... enjoy your time, and do yourself a favor... ask for Michael.

As a huge Gordon Ramsay fan, I was so excited when he opened a restaurant in Boston! We ordered the scallops and beef Wellington, both absolutely to die for. Our waiter, Michael P, was phenomenal. Attentive, personable, and made excellent suggestions without being pushy. Next time I come back, I will be requesting him again!

  • Jun 10, 2022 by Chris H.

Had an amazing time at Ramsay's kitchen. Went there for my birthday and our waiter Michael P was very helpful, friendly, and definitely made our experience one to remember. The beef Wellington is also a main stay!! Will return very soon!

My husband brought me here for my birthday dinner last night. We are huge Gordon Ramsay fans and had very high expectations. Those expectations were blown away!! First of all, our waitress Tiara was phenomenal with her service and recommendations. And the food was amazing!! We had a dozen oysters (some of the best oysters we have ever had) I had the crispy salmon and my husband had the beef Wellington. The restaurant was beautiful and a fantastic place for a date night or even a nice family dinner. We saw lots of family’s with kids there! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My husband and I have been to Ramsay's Kitchen several times now, and we have always had a great experience. The staff is always so friendly, and our meals have been perfect every single time. This past weekend we visited with my mother & our waiter Michael P completely blew it out of the park. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible & treated us as if we were longtime friends. I will be sure to request him as our waiter from now on as he really made our dining experience that much better.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.   We planned a birthday dinner for my twins turning 14.  We were running late for our reservation, so I called a head to let them know and they were extremely pleasant and said they would hold our table.   The atmosphere was quite nice and the ladies who greeted and sat us were very sweet.  The waiter Michael P was everything you want your waiter to be.  He was extremely knowledgeable of the food and specials, very outgoing and kind. I always appreciate when the wait staff knows the entire menu and is helpful when it comes to making choices (although I already knew the Wellington was my choice).  The manager came over to greet us as well, Kat?, she was super sweet and I loved that she gave a background of her history in the industry.  Everyone gave special unique attention to my boys.  Even the Chef signed my son's cookbook.  So kind. For starters, we ordered the flatbread and fries.  10/10  for both. The cocktails were The Witches Elixir and The Spiced Pear  10/10  (thanks to Michael P for helping us decide) Food we ordered 2 Wellingtons, 2 Fish and Chips and the Mac n Cheese. Cutting into the Wellington was like cutting into butter it was absolutely delicious.  Mac n Cheese might be my second favorite.   I did have "steel a bite" of the fish and hands down best fish n chips I have ever tasted. For dessert of course was the Sticky Toffee Pudding, yumm. Overall, yes it's on the pricey side but you will receive plentiful serving size (we had a big  take home bag)  the food, atmosphere and the entire experience was well worth it all.   I will be returning with my girlfriends,  We need Ramsay's cooking in our lives!! Thank you to all the Staff/Cooks/Chef for a wonderful dining celebration experience!  Special thanks to our server Michael P and the Manager Kat.   Emily

The food was fantastic, we got the filet and ny strip and both were 10/10. Also we ordered the potato purée which was really good. The Mac n cheese was pretty good and the chicken wings were average, wouldn't get again. But our server, Michael was great! He was super nice and welcoming and the service was great. Would definitely come again. We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your dining experience with us, Neeka! We will make sure to highlight Michael for his excellent service! We had the best dinner at Ramsays over Memorial Day weekend! The tuna tartare was so fresh, tasty and displayed beautifully. That was followed by the loup de mer and Gordon's signature Beef Wellington. This was paired with the truffle potatoes and mac & cheese. We were so happy with these choices! For cocktails we sipped on 90 Degrees in the Shade and Boston's Inferno, both delicious! We finished the night with the toffee pudding and we're so happy! Our five star meal was made even better by the top notch service from John! He took great care of us and made sure our night was perfect! Even his coworker/friend Michael was sweet to us! Such a great atmosphere and a fabulous night!

Ramsay's Kitchen, one of the best restaurants I have been to. If you are looking for good food and good service this it the place for you. I had the beef Wellington which was cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. Would highly recommend it. If you want an even better time, ask for mike. He was friendly, funny, and a very down to earth person who knew the menu when asked. So if you really want a good time, Ramsey's kitchen is the place to go.

My boyfriend and I went to Ramsays kitchen last night to celebrate a long week - we had quite high expectations for both the food and the service, and somehow this restaurant exceeded all of them. Not only was the beef Wellington incredibly well seasoned and the sticky toffee pudding at the perfect consistency , but the service was some of the best I've ever received at a restaurant. Michael P. made us feel incredibly welcome with both his meticulous service and engaging conversation. We plan on coming back soon and will be requesting Michael P. to be our server!

Great food, attentive service! Beef Wellington and Bouillabaisse were terrific. Michael gave amazing service and great recommendations. Toffee pudding is too die for!

  • Jun 04, 2022 by Keith J.

The food was really good and the service was excellent. But it did not live up to the hype I've had for Gordon Ramsay for the last 20 years. I don't think any meal could have done that.

  • Jun 04, 2022 by Elise M.

We came here for my birthday and had the most wonderful experience! Our server, Michael, was on top of everything and gave us incredible descriptions of some of the items on the menu. We ended up ordering the tamarind wings, which we weren't planning on getting until he talked about them! The beef Wellington was cooked to perfection and the scallops were soft and buttery, with the freshest apricot purée and pomegranate seeds. And obviously the pureed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and sticky toffee pudding were to die for as well. Cocktails are good but Michael helped us craft our own with fresh orange juice and stoli vanilla vodka - AMAZING, tasted like a fresh, light creamsicle! Long story short.. 10/10 reccommend

After following Chef Ramsay for close to 20 years his reputation does not disappoint. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and our server was the best. MICHAEL truly knows how to please his guests and make the dining experience superior.

Came to Ramsay's Kitchen to celebrate our year countdown to our wedding and our experience could not have better. Our server, Michael, was exceptional. Make sure to ask for him! We started with the crab cake which was the best crab cake I've ever eaten. We each got the Wellington as an entree which was excellent, but the star of the show was the sticky toffee pudding. Hands down one of the best desserts I've ever had. The dishes came out quickly and were cooked perfectly. All in all, a terrific experience.

I wish I could  rave about this place.  Gordon is the man. I'll do my best.  Beef Wellington was very good.  Tuna tartare and shrimp cocktail were outstanding.  Super clean and fresh.  Crispy skinned salmon excellent.  Only real "flaw" was the stale croutons in the Caesar - Very disappointing.  Sadly Gordon has such sky high expectations that anything less than outstanding is poor.  For 2 people it was 500 with a bottle of wine and just not up to that level.  The odd thing (and other reviews agree) is that this place is booked out for a couple months for dinner almost.  BUT when you go it's 1/2 filled the entire time.. odd.  Maybe they are trying to artificially drive the hype or just REALLY keep the place 1/2 full due to covid or staffing ?   I just found it wildly odd.  A month ago they were booked solid for tonight.  TODAY I called and got a reservation for 7 pm for the same day.   Everyone here was A++ pleasant.  Bussing was quite slow and inattentive throughout the meal.  Certainly wouldn't rush back.  The hype just wasn't they'd.  Sadly. We are so glad you could visit our restaurant, Roger! We greatly appreciate your feedback. Located in a great area of Boston, in the lovely Mandarin Hotel. Decor was pleasing. Bar area was good. Service was above and beyond. Our server was Michael P. Food was so tasty .. got the beef Wellington (exceeded expectations), scallops (my fave), tuna tartare, toffee bread pudding ( best I've ever tasted). Presentation was on point! Pear cocktail was delish. Booths by windows were comfy. Decor is modern . TV screens and music . Wonderful experience! Would recommend and return.

First time at this restaurant and I could not even give it enough stars, it truly deserves more. Our waiter Michael was amazing, and even boosted my confidence as soon as I walked in with his kind words. I look forward to coming here again, and hope we have him as our waiter again. Definitely recommend!!

Michael is the most knowledgeable man I have ever met. Beef Wellington, scallops, crab cake go hard. Highly recommend.

MICHAEL P! This is the first thing you need to know. Such a wonderful server! Knowledgeable, passionate, professional, energetic and so personable. What a beautiful soul. Made great suggestions without being pushy. Answered all our questions and gave honest opinions and feedback. His recommendations were great including the pear cocktail, tuna tartare, and beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding . The pear cocktail was easy to drink and just sweet enough. Strawberry chocolate Negroni was balanced. Drink the Negroni first because the pear cocktail will seem too sweet after drinking the Negroni and the Negroni will be too bitter after sipping the pear cocktail. On their own they are balanced and well crafted. Tuna tartare had a great amount of avocado with a glossy, chili oil , sour cream and wonton crisps. Very good tartar but fairly classic but with very high quality tuna. Also, I think it being the tuna loin made a big difference in the flavor and texture of these ruby jewels. The scallops were my favorite dish of the night! Perfectly seared. Blood orange and pomegranate accoutrements were tart yet savory items that perfectly accompanied the scallop and gave excitement to the plate when biting into the tender scallops that were seasoned just enough. We asked for the scallops as a mid course and recommend this pacing. The famous beef Wellington. Seasoned well and not too salty. Seasoned like a chef who has confidence in his skills and not excessive. Pastry is more of an "English " style, or I should say less of a French style puff pastry. Not as flaky but encased the beef, prosciutto, and mushroom duxelle perfectly. Even half is very filling. Potato purée and baby root veggies were good. They allowed the Wellington to be the star and the amount the sides were not excessive but a good amount. Restraint is used and it's successful here. Sticky toffee pudding...served with Chantilly cream ice cream. So much better than vanilla. Vanilla would have competed with the sweetness of the pudding. This ice cream was a little tart and lent itself perfectly to the most delightful and "I'm too full and can't have another bite but it's just so good" sticky toffee pudding . Michael P was such a highlight and just made a great experience excellent! Kat, a manager, was also so pleasant and delightful and a pleasure to deal with. What an amazing staff! The staff, the food, the interior makes this a place to return to!! Hi Sujatha, We are so glad you could dine with us and greatly appreciate your feedback! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your dining experience with us from your meal to your excellent service from Michael. We will make sure to highlight him for his outstanding service. We hope to see you again very soon! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

My fiancé and I went to Ramsey's Kitchen to celebrate his birthday. We had a great time! Our server Michael was fantastic. Very friendly, funny and the right amount of charm. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was amazing. All staff were great and very sweet when they found out it was his birthday.

  • May 30, 2022 by Eric W.

Outstanding meal and exceptional service from Michael! Great drinks then apps with a customization on the Boston Inferno, adding bacon and calling it the Boston Inferno Black. Michael was outstanding and we enjoyed every aspect of this meal. Dinner was the uncontested champion of Beef Wellington from Chef Ramsay's kitchen as well as the delicious Fish and Chips! Did we mention the scrumptious Tuna Tar Tar and Crabcake  appetizers! Dessert was the Sticky Toffee Pudding topped with warm bacon compliments of Michael as well as the Eton Mess which were both exceptional unto themselves. We'll done Michael and Ramsay's Kitchen Boston!

John, our server at Ramsay's on Saturday afternoon, was absolutely fantastic.  He was attentive, knowledgeable, engaging, fun, and professional.  The food was excellent -- the crab cake aioli is TOPS -- and the beef wellington and filet mignon were perfectly cooked and delicious.  Sauvignon blanc was crisp and refreshing.  Atmosphere is sleek yet casual; great people watching through the windows to Boylston Street from the bar area.  Excellent experience all around -- we'll definitely be going back.

My husband and I had an awesome experience with our server, Michael! Michael gave us the best experience we've ever had at any restaurant around Boston and we enjoyed every second being in the restaurant. We were provided with guidance on the menu and he was descriptive with the entrees giving us a pure visual of the foods so we know what to expect. Everything tasted delicious just as he described it and we would come back here again.

This place was great! Our waiter Michael P. Was awesome and one of the best waiters I've had, his energy is great definitely ask for him anytime you come! Ordered the chicken wings which were juicy and flavorful. Also ordered the Caesar salad which was really good and fresh. For the entree I ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. Juicy and very flavorful.

I've been to Hell's Kitchen in Vegas and am happy to see Gordon Ramsey finally opened a place in Boston. I feel that many who give this place two or three stars may have too high an expectation. My overall experience here is pretty good, the beef wellington is a 5/5, the scallop taste good although the portion is small. The tuna tartare itself is a little bit salty but the sour cream and avocado balanced the overall taste. I love the spicy pear drink very much. The service is impeccable, our waiter Jorge is very attentive.

  • May 28, 2022 by Rick R.

We came here for lunch to celebrate my daughter's college graduation. The service and food were excellent. I had a must try dish, the beef Wellington. Too many seen episodes of Kitchen Nightmares to pass it up. It didn't disappoint. Cooked to perfection. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back when I'm back in town.

My husband and I dined @ Ramsay's Kitchen last week and we had a very pleasant dinner.  Our server John Coakley (I asked for his last name) was very experienced, even knowing that Ramsay's just opened, he knew the menu like the back of his hand!  He recommended the Sea Bass and we were not disappointed.  Very good atmosphere, will definitely will be returning, hope John will be there as well! We are delighted to hear that you and your husband enjoyed your dining experience with us, from your meal to your fantastic service from John! We look forward to seeing you again soon! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

It was just okay. I'd say the food wasn't anything spectacular. I've been to better spots. The hype of this place and waiting for reservations spot really wasn't worth it. Their menu is limited and no customization and the drinks are just so so. What was good was the crab cake and the mushroom sides. The beef Wellington was just mediocre. I wish I loved the food but I don't think I'm going a second time. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your meal. We started the meal with two Martinis. The Spiced Pear and 90 Degrees in the Shade. Both refreshing and would recommend the 90 Degrees in the Shade for all the Margarita lovers. Heywood and Booth would approve this drink. The Spiced Pear would be recommended for the sweeties out there. Pairing the Maitake mushrooms side with the Roasted Grape Flatbread took flavors to a whole new level. The miso aioli sauce with the Maitake mushrooms tasted amazing. Our Caesar Salad prep'd us for what was to come and the best part was one salad was shareable for two.   As for the Signature Mains, we enjoyed the Fish & Chips which had a beautiful crispy Atlantic Haddock, crunchy chips and Gordon's tartar sauce. The 8 oz. Filet Mignon was the star of the night with a perfectionist cut, melt in your mouth and best of all left you feeling satisfied and not overly stuffed. At this point we had felt we ate enough, although the desert menu was tempting. We backed down and will definitely look forward to trying the Eton Mess and Sticky Toffee Pudding. As for service, our staff was incredibly nice and not only did they check in on us but we were served our food by different members of the kitchen and that made my wife's birthday meal feel very special. Thank you for a wonderful night and we look forward to dining there again. Be Happy!

We visited Ramsay's Kitchen to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our server Bobby was outstanding. Always there when we needed him, but never hovering. The food was out of this world. We had the Beef Wellington and the Filet Mignon. We finished with Gordon's signature Sticky Toffee Pudding. I could die tomorrow and be happy. All I can say is GO!

I've gone to this place a multiple times since it opened. Our first experience was incredible. Our server was Mr.John Coakley and he gave me & my family/friends the ultimate service! He went over everything in detail, answered any of our questions & suggested items that thought would work best. He made us feel like we were at home doing a family event.  He was so kind, funny and well put together! Every time we went back we requested him and we loved it! Over all would recommend!

Spicy pear martini was excellent. Music was a little loud at the bar. I was hoping for some Sinatra. I'll return to try the dinner sometime. Customer service at the bar was excellent! I just returned to Ramsay's Kitchen! Fantastic filet mignon steak and broccolini. The sticky toffee pudding was good too. I had to have another spicy pear martini too!

I went to Ramsey's Kitchen after months of trying to get a reservation at the brand new Back Bay hot spot. I was a little nervous about how service would be considering how busy they were. Lucky for me, I got Cokley as a server. When I tell you we felt like we were the only guests he had despite all his other tables. He was EXTREMELY personable, efficient and so friendly. His service was on point, he gave us the greatest recommendations, and even pointed out some great places to go afterwards. All I can say is if the rest of the staff is as great as him, this is my new favorite spot!

I had the opportunity to have dinner here, and was very excited to try Ramsay's dishes. Either he doesn't know what is going on inn that kitchen, or he just sells his name and cash out. Service was acceptable since they were understaffed when I went. Bar was packed and bartenders want to sell food not drinks, I get it. Bouillabaisse should not be called that, seafood heavy tomato soup maybe. Scallops were not jumbo, and nothing special, the side pork was delicious. Crab cake excellent, but I can get that many places. I have eaten hot dogs from street vendors to Noma in Copenhagen, this is not meeting standards.

  • May 12, 2022 by Déia H.

What a great service! Michael (I hope I'm writing it right) went above and beyond with his service. I usually don't write reviews but he deserves way more than 5 stars. Everything he suggested was on point, from the drinks to dessert. My husband and I had been there before to celebrate my birthday and we didn't have a good experience, but the Ramsay's team did an incredible job taking care of any issues and I'm so glad I had the change to experience what we did tonight. Thank you to Arthur, the GM (I'm sorry I don't know how to spell your name) and Michael!!

  • May 11, 2022 by Cal L.

Okay. So this place definitely doesn't deserve a Michelin star yet, but 3.5 stars on Yelp? Cmon bro. The food was good, the service was great. And the ambiance...pretty unbeatable. So I'll start with the bad. The reservation system is a joke. Nothing available online but when I called they were able to make room. And when I got there, so many empty tables but they couldn't seat me immediately and told a couple who hadn't made a reservation that it was a 45 minute wait. Come on guys! Definitely playing games with creating false scarcity here. And the outdoor seating wasn't available yet, which was annoying. They already set up all of the tables. So why not make it available? But if I could get past these two annoyances, I had a wonderful time. Our server, Danny (Danyel), was amazing. I got there first and he was clearly overworked. I told him it was all good - I was waiting for a friend - and he was attentive, knowledgeable, and extremely attentive. I loved that he saw I was dining with a female my age and assumed it was a date - so started playing wingman and talking me up. Which...wow! Presumptuous but what a great guy. I wasn't trying to get lucky - my dinner was an old friend and I'm married - but I did appreciate the gesture. And it shows that guys looking after guys...that's a thing even among strangers. What a quality dude, Danny. The food was also exceptional. The appetizer menu looked meh, so we ordered a bunch of sides for appetizers and it was delicious. The mains were also extremely good. The beef Wellington did not disappoint. Some parts (the mushroom filling) were overly salty, but taken in aggregate with the puff pastry + the beef was perfect. The bouillabaisse was also great. Dessert was amazing, definitely get the toffee bread pudding. I will be back, with my wife. Hopefully Danny can put in a good word with her, I need it!

We just love the beef Wellington. Don't miss it!  Great location, nice atmosphere, great service, good drinks. Perfect!

  • May 07, 2022 by Kelly H.

I've been eager to give Ramsay's Kitchen a try both because of Gordon Ramsay's fame and because my husband and I went to two of his restaurants when visiting London and had OUTSTANDING experiences both times.  We tried Ramsay's Kitchen for the first time last night, a busy Friday.  To start with, the hostesses were friendly and accommodating....a rare and special couple of qualities at any busy and sought after Boston restaurant.  (We first had to change party size due to covid, and they did this with absolutely zero hesitation.  Next, we arrived half an hour late due to Boston traffic.  Again, they did not flinch, told us that they held our table and thanked us for coming.  Awesome.)  The atmosphere is chic, bustling, and fun.  Great bar scene but also comfortable and stylish tables for dinner.  We started with cocktails and my spicy pear set the tone for the whole dinner.  I am confused why this place is not getting 5 stars in every review.  I have to believe that Gordon Ramsay is held to a higher standard than most, or people just want to see someone at the top knocked down a few pegs, because it was DELICIOUS.  We tried the mussels, the crab cake, the crispy salmon, the beef wellington, and the sticky toffee pudding.  All specialties, all recommended by the server, and all absolutely amazing.  Perfectly cooked and perfectly presented.  Our server, Bobby, was outstanding.  Friendly, funny, efficient.  My husband has been in the restaurant business himself for 30 years...he is a tough critic often...nothing but good to say here.  Don't miss this place.  Spectacular.

  • May 06, 2022 by Erber D.

The quality of the food matches the star power of its kitchen's namesake. I am not even a big fan of red meat; but, I had to try the beef Wellington. It was AMAZING. I also tried the burger, which was tasty. And the jumbo lump crab cake is so tasty while seemingly melting in your mouth. I also tried two of their "spicy" cocktails, both of which also tasted good and packed a nice punch. The location is prime (right on Boylston next to the Mandarin Oriental hotel and on the walking path to Fenway); and, while the prices can seem high, the value of everything you get is well worth it. Kudos to the general manager who was also very nice, gave us some history about this location, and clearly had the place hitting on all cylinders.

  • May 05, 2022 by Greg B.

Had a wonderful lunch here at Ramsay’s. Quality of the food and service is on par with the other locations worldwide like the London one. Staff is extremely friendly and careful to every detail. The food is very good, both the signature dishes like the beef Wellington as well as the “local” ones. Yes, Ramsay’s is sourcing local New England ingredients like lobster, scallops, crab and serving them with a Gordon Ramsay twist. The toffee pudding is delicious!

  • May 03, 2022 by Nicholas S.

  • May 03, 2022 by Paulina C.

Michael was wonderful! Made the dining experience 10 times better. He was so great and made my night. So funny and kind! Also we had wonderfully wine feedback from the knowledgeable man who spoke to us about the different types of wines they offered. Loved both of them!!!

  • May 03, 2022 by Cori M.

This was our first time visiting for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious, but the service was even better. Our waiter was Michael, and if it were possible to give him a 20/10, I would. He was so personable, patient, and had the best recommendations for food and drinks. He made the experience and was so entertaining and fun. I would definitely recommend the NY strip, tuna tartare, and toffee pudding for dessert. Ask for Michael, you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to come back.

  • May 02, 2022 by Maggie Rogers

Incredible experience! My husband and I made reservations for my husband's birthday and we were utterly blown away. Every single member of the staff that we came into contact with were polite, courteous, and friendly. Our waiter was able to answer every question we had about all the menu items we inquired about.

The drinks we had were delicious! The appetizers were incredible! The entrees were to die for! Dessert was ... I'm not sure there are words for dessert!

The use of space in the dining area was well thought out. We were very impressed and hope to return soon!

  • May 02, 2022 by Adam B.

Overall, there was nothing wrong with this place ... it was just average. Not sure if the expectation of Gordon Ramsay's perfection set too high a bar (I've been to several of his restaurants in their heyday). I am going to try to write this review without using the phrases, "You donkey!" or "It's Raw!" ... and luckily, none of us had anything which required missing "Lamb Sauce!" I should mention that we were frequent diners at Gordon's Maze restaurant at The London Hotel in NYC in the late 2000's. It was, for the most part, amazing. Know that the reservations system here is not entirely true. If you check, likely you will see dinner service booked out for a month or more, with a few lunch availabilities available. However, the day of, several random reservation times pop up for dinner, as available, and then disappear 10 minutes later. Throughout the day, we watched 8 times pop up, even though the entire week said no dinner availability. This is odd (feigned exclusivity?) because the only way to make a reservation is through the website and the phone goes to a pre-recorded message. We walked into the reservation around 2 p.m. to make a reservation in person and they offered us any dining time after 4 p.m. So, just because it says no availability ... likely that's not true. The restaurant had a very steady business going on a Sunday in early May. I will also say that the check-in desk woman couldn't have been sweeter or more helpful. The vibe here is a huge whiff. The music is a clubby/house music played about 30% too loud. We felt it was distracting/annoying and it was hard to hear each other. I used to work at Abercrombie & Fitch in college and this took me back to those days with the booming awful club music. The decor was nice but felt a bit generic, like any Las Vegas casino or liks a restaurant in any high end business hotel (think, Hyatt or Westin) in Miami. Lots of white and blue and chrome ... dim lighting. The best part were the comfortable white leather half moon booths. Beyond the horrible too loud music, things were fine but a bit generic-feeling. The food was on the whole, average. Nothing was really special ... it all looked amazing, like something out of one of Gordon Ramsay's cookbooks. Presentation is not the issue. Most everything was bland ... and just kind of 'eh ...' Beef Wellington ($59) looked like something out of an advertisement but was cooked Medium, though requested Medium Rare. It had a dry, bland mushroom/pate filling and the sauce was a sweet-sour balsamic which overpowered the dish. Without the sauce it tasted like a roast beef sandwich. The portion was huge ... 1/2 the portion at 3/4 the price would have been fine for me. The Clam Chowder ($19) was more of a soup. In a city like Boston, famous for it's creamy, thicker chowder, to offer this at almost $20 per bowl is not reading the room right. The burger ($21) was decidedly average. The bun was too sweet ... the meat was bland and unseasoned and I'd rather have had a Shake Shack burger. (The french fries were wonderful). Bouillabaisse ($49) was bland, seafood was skimpy and the broth did not seem to compliment it. The standout of the meal was the Sticky Toffee Pudding ($18). If I came in and had only this I'd have left much happier. It's expensive ... the cost of an entrée in many nearby restaurants ... but was our favorite part of the meal. Much like a par on hole #18 after a terrible round, it left us with a taste of what Gordon Ramsay done right is like. The rest of the meal was an expensive, bland average experience. The dessert was what I remembered of Gordon Ramsay's heyday restaurants, when he had a Michelin Star. We were regular diners at Maze in NYC and everything that came out of the kitchen tasted as perfect as the Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert we finished with. Overall, we left disappointed, though we felt full and our wallets felt much lighter. I don't mind paying a lot for a quality meal ... but perhaps because Gordon Ramsay's reputation sets the bar high, we were let down and don't think we'd return for a meal. The staff was friendly and helpful and I loved that it was clear that they tasted each menu dish personally and weren't afraid to make recommendations ... but it didn't have the Gordon Ramsay vibe we wanted. Our waitress was sweet but was never there when we needed her, the restaurant was out of a few of the wines and a few of the menu items and at one point two staffers seemed to get into an animated argument while bussing the table next to us. This food did not show off what a culinary genius Chef Ramsay is when it comes to flavors as the only identifiable flavor was bland up until the dessert.

Went here last night and had a great time! The service was some of the best I've had in my life. Ordered the crab cake, scallops, beef wellington and toffee pudding. Everything was SO GOOD. The scallops were much bigger than we had expected and they were delicious. Beef wellington was tender and definitely a must have. Already booking another reservation!

It's worth the reputation! It's quite hard to get the reservation or the day you want it but you should try on the same day because there might be some cancellation. They will call you to confirm the appointment. The food was so great. The service was phenomenon. We were seated just a few min late but we were informed every min how things went (different from so other restaurants that let you wait until they are ready) I'll def come back

I've been twice.  Must reserve online and way ahead of time.  Hostess friendly.  Service excellent,  First time visiting was for a midweek lunch.  I split lobster role and prosciutto brie sandwich and Sandwiches were tasty, although the lobster role is very small. Second visit was for a Weekend lunch.  We ordered the crabcake appetizer, which was magnificent.  Two of us had the beef wellington, at the suggestion of the server, and my husband had clam chowder appetizer and warm lobster role.  None of us were happy with the food.  We were hungry so we both ate half of the wellington, but it was way too rare for my taste, my friend just didn't like the taste.  I wish i had stuck with the fish and chips that i had planned on ordering.  My husband said his warm lobster role was okay, but he did not enjoy the deconstructed chowder.  We  shared the toffee dessert, which was excellent and coffees.  Sorry to say underwhelmed by food.

Worth the wait. We booked this two months in advance and ended up coming for lunch. Very expensive but the food is absolutely delicious. If you didn't go overboard on drinks, apps and dessert it would be reasonable. The crab cake was amazing, best we have ever had. We get sushi a lot and it was really good but we wouldn't get it again for the price. The sticky toffee pudding was out of this world. So were our two entrees.

My partner and I visited Ramsay's Kitchen for my 30th birthday. I'm a huge fan of Gordon Ramsay and the restaurant did not disappoint! The service was great. I believe our waiter's name was Chris and he was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. I ordered the lamb dish and my partner ordered a burger and the macaroni and cheese. All was delicious and the portions were large enough that we took food home. The only somewhat con was the music. I think they are still trying to figure out what vibe they are going for. I would have liked it to be more relaxing music (but it may have been up beat pop because of the attached bar area). We would come back for sure! Also, get the sticky toffee pudding!

The food was great, definitely up to expectation, but nothing life-changing. The interior was so pretty to look at, vibes were definitely immaculate. The beef wellington was much better than the scallops but my favorite dish was the sticky toffee pudding! Definitely recommend going here if you’re a Gordon fan! Also, their website says a lot about clothing restrictions and dress code but people dressed really casually in the restaurant.

Ramsay's Kitchen was a bit of a disappointment. The inside of the restaurant was really nice; however, the food was extremely underwhelming. The crispy skin salmon was very average and was not filling and the fish and chips were a 5/10. The fish was good, but the chips were dry and one piece was even undercooked and extremely starchy in texture. The only positives of this restaurant is the interior and service, but would not recommend because of the food.

Made the reservation 3 months ago for dinner due to high demand, I had high expectations but with more reviews, I just kind of give up and still would like to give it a try. They called around noon time to confirm the reservation. We arrived 10 minutes before the reservation and the table was ready. There are still empty tables during the whole dinner. Our server was great but I forgot his name. We ordered - Strawberry Chocolate Negroni (strawberry-chocolate infused botanist gin, carpano antica formula vermouth, amaro montenegro, campari) - Jumbo Lump Crab Cake (citrus herb aioli, frisée) - King Crab Sushi Roll (avocado cucumber roll, king crab salad, tosa soy, sesame seeds) - Maitake Mushrooms (char siu glaze, miso aioli, smoked sea salt) - Pan-Seared Scallops (house-cured pork belly, apricot purée, pomegranate, cara cara orange) - Beef Wellington (potato purée, glazed baby root vegetables, red wine demi, served medium rare) - Sticky Toffee Pudding (english toffee sauce, crème fraîche ice cream) The food does take time, more than 30 minutes wait when the starter arrived at our table. The crab cake was super good, with big lumps of crab but kind of overpriced for one piece. King crab sushi roll was nothing special, the rice was hard, lack of crab meat, and over salty, Saltie Girl taste better. The mushroom is good, not over seasoned, the glazed added a little crispiness to the mushroom. The scallops were decent, nothing special but the pork belly melts in the mouth, it is so good but on;y two small thick slices.  The beef wellington was the highlight of the dinner but it was a disappointment. The meat itself was bland, the seasoning wrapped around the beef was over-seasoning, the pastry wrapped around the beef was salty or bland, and the seasoning wasn't evenly on the pastry. The toffee pudding was good but way too sweet. If testing the temperature for all the dishes, this will have the highest temperature compared to other dishes. The temperature was good for the crab cake. The rest of the dishes are served lukewarm or not even which I am not satisfied. I want food to be served hot. Overall, my favorite dish is the crab cake and maitake mushrooms. The rest of the food is not worth it but a great experience.

Had breakfast and dinner here. Breakfast was served relatively fast but if you can't cook over easy eggs you probably should be in the breakfast business. Gave this place a try for dinner. Ordered the $55 filet. Asked for it medium and it was well done at the ends and only medium in a little place in the center. The chef was in love because it was way too salty. The atmosphere is good but the food terrible. Skip. Hi Pablo, We are very sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience with us. We would love to learn more, please email guestrelations@grna.com. Food was technical excellence - the salmon and lamb cooked perfectly. From a flavor standpoint, nothing bold or pop-y from the savory meals, but let the food’s natural flavors take the stage here. I would have liked a little more seasoning on the salmon, it was kind of minimal.

Toffee pudding is to die for - must have dessert. Wine list is robust without being overwhelming

We were excited to try Ramsey Kitchen and booked reservations when they first opened in January. Unfortunately,  it did not live up to the excitement. Underwhelming is the best way to describe the food. Drinks: the cocktail menu is not that expansive, so we ordered off menu from the bar. Although  the drinks were made well. We waited over 20 mins for them to arrive. Appetizers: Just like the drinks, it took some time for the appetizers to come out. Tamarind Glazed Chicken Wings- The wings tasted like they had been sitting in lime juice for too long and tasted interesting. I wouldn't order them again Maine Lobster Roll- Lobster Roll was decent, but wouldn't come back for it. Crab Cake - The crab cake was decent. Sides: Maitake Mushrooms - The mushrooms were good and one of the better things we had that night. Baked Mac and Cheese-  looked good, but had no seasoning, very bland and watery. Entrees: Beef Wellington- The best thing of the night and only entree properly seasoned Braised Lamb- cooked perfectly but not seasoned Fish and Chips- very bland. Neither the fish or chips were seasoned. The tartar sauce did help offset the blandness of fish. The chips were undercooked. Desert: Sticky Toffee Pudding. We all ordered this and enjoyed it. Overall: We did have a nice waiter and the ambience was nice, but there is work to be done to make this a restaurant I would want to visit again. We waited a long time for every thing to come out. For point of reference we were just a table of 3 and our reservation was for 5:15. We didn't leave restaurant until 8:40 pm because of how slow the service was. The food is definitely cooked well, but many items were bland and underseasoned. Our table neighbors complained of the same issue. They expressed their disappointment like we did, about waiting so long for the reservation and having food that was underseasoned that took a very long time to come out. Hopefully they improve. I had high hopes for this restaurant but it was mediocre. Had a variety of cultural dishes. Large wine list. Ambiance: expected open kitchen concept where I can see the food being made. Its just a normal dim lit romantic vibe. Not a gordon ramsay vibe. Food: we ordered the mushrooms and fries for side. Boullabaise, clam chowder, and fish and chips. The fish was undercooked and I can taste the flour batter not in a good way. We sent the fish and chips back and the manager offered us to orde the crab cake. Boullabaise was decent. Clam chowder flavor was good but I much prefer a thick hearty clam chowder. The clam chowder was very thin. Crab cake was good. Doesnt have a lot of fillers. Drinks: ordered Boston inferno and old cuban. Both sweet. Disappointed in the boston inferno because it was whisky served with regular ice chips not a large ice cube. Regular ice melted too quickly and watered down the whisky. Parking: street. Its right in Boston so plan ahead. Service: good service. Friendly and attentive Overall, I would not come back for food but maybe for drinks.

We were here sometime before Boston Marathon and Boston weather that day was so great, that it was quite busy around Boylston street. This restaurant has valet but the day we were here even valet was full. Fortunately we were able to find parking in the Prudential Center parking lot. I have been to one of the restaurants of Chef Ramsey. I have always been a big fan. This restaurant as well has Ramseys signature dishes and hospitality style. Our server was super friendly and nice. Drinks:  We stated with some drinks. I had mocktail named grin & tonic :) it was refreshing and delicious. We then ordered Sparkling Rose brut. Great wine. Definitely recommend to try if you are fan of sparkling wines. Appetizer: We ordered tamarind glazed chicken wings. Those were okay. They were too tangy for me. Mains: I ordered crispy skin salmon. This is one of the signature dish. It comes with salad. It was beautifully plated. Salmon was amazing cooked. Totally recommend this dish. Dessert: Sticky toffee pudding. This was the best part of the meal. Also this is one of best desserts I have had so far. The pudding is served with some ice cream and toffee sauce. It's just too good.

The restaurant is beautiful and the food was excellent.  We had the lump crab cake and Caesar salad to start.  The crab cake was ridiculously good.  Big lumps of juicy crab.  Pricey for a starter but delicious.  The Caesar salad was very good although slightly too salty for my taste but a generous portion and tasty tidbits of pancetta and the egg was perfect.  Entrees we had the Wellington and fish and chips.  Both were excellent.  Best fried fish I've ever had and the beef was so very tender.  A little heavy on the mushrooms and I could have used more of the wine sauce but delish all the same.  For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding which was probably the best dessert I've ever had.  Service was a little slow but staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you, Kristen! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed dining with us! We greatly appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

We came on a Thursday without a reservation. There is a lot of seating at the bar, but we got lucky and were sat down. The staff is very helpful and really knows the menu. The best item on the menu shockingly, is the potato puree. Everything we ate was delicious. The prices weren't outrageous, but definitely pricey. A fun date spot, the ambience was really chill.

  • Apr 19, 2022 by Jonah M.

This place is the best place i've ever eaten. The service and food was fantastic  And if you ever come here please ask to be served by Nichoulas. Nicest guy ever. I ordered the Connecticut Lobster roll. It said it was plain on the menu , when it came out  there was lettuce. Nichoulas quickly got me another one without lettuce. This guy will do  anything to make you happy. The crispy skin salmon was delicious. The potato purée is very creamy. Please come here if you have a chance to come please do it is worth it. Have a fantastic day.

My fiancé is a huge fan of Gordon Ramsay and I could not wait to book this special occasion for his birthday. Our waitress was lovely but we waited over an hour for our food.   He was a bit disappointed with the beef Wellington, it did not have a ton of flavor. The potato purée that came with it was delicious but literally 1 ounce for a serving and the root vegetables were served ice cold. The clam chowder had a strange texture and the lobster roll did not have much butter on it. The tuna tartare was delicious but only came with four pieces of pita, leaving just raw tuna on my plate.  The sirloin was seasoned perfectly and I absolutely loved the charred peppers and demi-glaze, however my meat was undercooked. The potato purée was absolutely delicious. And the lemon cheesecake was one of the best desserts I've ever had. The restaurant was out of the mushrooms for appetizer and the broccolini for a side. They blamed it on Boston marathon day but you really should accommodate for extra folks... The dress code, it's supposed to be upper class casual and people were showing up with ripped jeans and half shirts on. I also noted on the reservation that it was a Birthday and the staff did not make any attempt to make my fiancé feel special. The restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful, clean, very romantic setting.  The prices were outrageous, overall we had a good experience but we were expecting much much more.

Located in the Back Bay area is Gordon Ramsay's new restaurant called Ramsay's Kitchen. I know he is famous for his burgers so that was a must-try.  I will say I have been to multiple Gordan Ramsay's restaurants in the past, mainly in Las Vegas and they never turn out great. This one was just okay. We did make reservations for dinner, just in case. I will say the burger was cooked well and to our liking, as it was juicy and filled. The other side dishes we ordered were subpar, but our waiter and the service made up for the entire experience.

  • Apr 15, 2022 by Paramount P.

Great ambiance & service but the food was subpar. We ordered oysters on the half shell. Only 2 out of the 6 had liquor. The Tuna Tartare came out perfect. I ordered the beef Wellington for myself and it came to the table severely undercooked. There's been better dishes served up on Kitchen Nightmares

I've been reading the wildly conflicting reviews here. It seems people either have a wonderful experience or a less than stellar time. I'm happy to say I had one of the wonderful ones! I went to Hells Kitchen in Vegas last week and was pretty excited to eat at a Ramsay restaurant again as it was great in Vegas. Service was wonderful, they came over many times to ask how we were and if everything was good. They did accidentally send the wrong food to our table at first but quickly fixed it. Food was amazing. I had the filet mignon, truffled potatoes, and sticky toffee pudding. My only complaint was that I asked for the filet mignon medium rare and it definitely came on the high side of medium. However it was so tender and juicy and yummy that it didn't matter. The truffled potatoes were a perfect side for the steak. The sticky toffee pudding is one of my favorite desserts of any restaurant ever! I love how at each his restaurants you get a different kind of ice cream on top of the pudding. All around a wonderful experience, will definitely come back!

My expectations were higher going there. We ordered the beef wellington and crispy salmon. Food came out warm and feels like it was left out. The sticky toffee pudding however was pretty good. Katherine was an amazing server. Overall we expected better food coming in and it didn’t meet the expectations.

Update: the management there was great! They called me and asked us to come back so they could do a better job and serve us some food on them.

I really enjoyed my time with my Fiancé at Ramsays Kitchen! We went for my Fiancés birthday. The service overall was very good! We felt like we didn't have to wait long for our drinks, appetizers or entrees. It was all spaced out very nicely. My Fiancé had gone to Vegas with a friend of his and Got a reservation for Gordon's restaurant there and had the beef Wellington and raved about it and wanted to try the one here in Boston... To start we got the crab cake which was delicious! I would definitely get it again. Fiancé ordered the beef Wellington and liked it but did say his one in Vegas was better. He said this one needed a bit more seasoning but overall it was good. I got the fish and chips and it was very good! I don't usually order fried food but after seeing some good reviews on here for the fish and chips I had to try them. My fiancé actually liked mine better than his! Very crispy and a lot of good flavor. We shared Mac and cheese and a Caesar salad and both were very good and would order again. We split the sticky toffee pudding and OMG we would go back just based on this dessert alone. Overall we had a great time!

The food itself was truly phenomenal. The beef Wellington was nice as well as the lobster roll, I definitely recommend. My biggest issue with this place so far is the service. I've had to wait nearly an hour for my food. It seemed they totally forgot about my party and I, and only made the food after acknowledging we were getting full off water instead. Unfortunate because the food was great, but I was pretty much full off looking at other eating. Absolutely Amazing! service and food was excellent. Service was on point, and food cooked perfect. Started with an array of apps...my favorite would have to be the Tuna or the King Crab Roll. Entrees had to go with the Beef Wellington perfect Med Rare with a nice crunch on the shell. The Potato Puree along side, hot and seasoned great pair. Don't forget some desert the sticky toffee pudding is spectacular! Be sure to give this place a try.

  • Apr 07, 2022 by Greg H.

Nothing amazing at all and a completely mixed bag. Inconsistent quality. Average service... we had three people, and two of us got our cocktails before the third. I don't think I've ever experienced that. They made sure to specifically inform me that the Beef Wellington was served only medium rare. I told them that's perfect, and how they made it is how I wanted it. It came out medium, bordering on medium well. Kind of dry. Under seasoned. And THIS is his specialty? Clearly either Gordon or Christina have checked out a little bit here. Crab cake appetizer was great. Acceptable size for an app, good for two people. Sticky toffee pudding was absolutely AMAZING. I would come back here just for that. Mac and cheese tasted odd. I'm a big fan of mac and cheese, make it myself often, and this mac and cheese was just... unpleasant. My dining companions both had a lobster role and really enjoyed them.

My family and I came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were really excited because we're big fans of Gordon Ramsay and all of his shows. Plus, reservations for dinner are extremely difficult, so I was happy to at least come and try this place for breakfast! The food that I ordered was delicious, however the general experience overall was pretty mediocre. The food that my parents ordered was nothing special and they were quite disappointed. My mom ordered the regular eggs benedict and was disappointed how much it was lacking flavor. My dad ordered the vegetable omelette and he said it was okay, but it was a little cold. For a restaurant with Gordon Ramsay's name on it, we felt the food should at the very least be fresh and hot, not to mention flavorful with at least salt and pepper... Now the food I ordered however, I was very satisfied with and would recommend. We started off with the monkey bread which was really sweet and delicious. My sister and I shared the lemon poppyseed pancakes and the pork belly benedict. The pork belly on top of the biscuit was perfection~ it was so tasty. And the pancakes were so fluffy and flavorful! When my mom expressed her disappointments to the manager she was able to switch it out for these pancakes and was much more satisfied.   We were grateful that the manager was able to switch this out, but service overall was again, mediocre. I think for a Ramsay restaurant, expectations were high and they just weren't met here. It's still a newer restaurant so the kinks are still getting worked out~ I'd love to come back in a few months from now and maybe try dinner instead.

I'm a huge Ramsay fan so I was very excited to see what my first Ramsay restaurant had to offer.  Needless to say, my expectations were subverted somewhat.   Service - 2/5: normally, service isn't really a massive thing for me. I really only go to restaurants for the food, and the wait times/service are a minor blip on the radar.  However, for the price tag + Ramsay's name attached I would have expected better service.  We ordered two apps and two entrees, but the second app was completely missed, no acknowledgement by the staff whatsoever once the entrees came and the other app was eaten.  Our waiter kept coming around saying he would be getting us our second app multiple times, but it never came and there was no further mention of it after we received entrees.  It's as though they realized they fked up and hoped we would forget about it.  At least they didn't charge us for it.  On top of that, I finished my water fairly quickly (~10 minutes after sitting down), but it wasn't until our entrees came (~one hour after sitting down) that I was offered a water refill.  The hour wait for food didn't help either.   Price - 2/5: Why are 4 scallops $49? Beef wellington is understandable being roughly $60 but for the quality I was disappointed. Too salty and too heavy. Food - 3.5/5: We got the crab cakes, the mac and cheese (which never came), the wellington, and the scallops.  Crab cakes were ok. Nothing special.  The scallops were very good in my opinion, they also came with a few slices of pork belly which I am almost ashamed to say was the best part of the meal. The wellington was also quite good, but again nothing special in my opinion.  None of the food was bad, everything tasted quite good, but nothing other than the pork belly stood out. For dessert we got the sticky toffee pudding and that shit slapped, 10/10. Definitely recommend. Atmosphere - 5/5: Atmosphere was cool but tbh if you go to a restaurant for anything but the food what are you even doing. Hi Alex, Thank you so much for your review, we are delighted that you could dine with us however very sorry to hear that your meal did not live up to expectations. We would love to connect you with our team regarding the issues you encountered, please email guestrelations@grna.com. Thank you - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

Reservations: We made these reservations about 2 months ahead and arrived late for our reservation due to traffic and the trains running late but the staff was great! They were understanding and had our table ready Ambiance of the restaurant: very clean, everyone is spaced out, the seatings were comfortable and the music wasn't too loud (which we absolutely love because we can hear each other). The decor is very modern but a touch of art deco, very cute Dress code: no dress code, very chill we came in our office attire and my brother came in regular school clothes. They were all very welcoming Masks: I don't believe it's mandated in the restaurant, but if you're comfortable with wearing a mask. Please do ! We did :) Food taste: I have to say, all the food was amazing ! It was all very good. I think my favorite was the tuna tartare.  The toffee pudding was recommendation and it's honestly 5/5 Bathroom: Bathroom is in the hotel, very clean, everyone gets an individual private bathroom stall. Love it. Staff: very approachable and checks up on you and your meal. Everyone is very kind and makes conversation with you Wait time: I wanted to rate this at a 4.5 but can only give 4 or 5. The wait time for food was a bit like about 10 to 15+ minutes. It wasn't TOO much of an issue but it was a bit longer than expected. But we didn't mind it too much Would I come here again? Absolutely! I will definitely try to! The restaurant is very popular and getting a reservation was quite hard ! Wow, thank you, Vy! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your dining experience with us! We can't wait for you to dine with us again soon! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

We had a lovely experience. I had been waiting to go since opening, and booked my reservation well in advance. I've been a fan of Gordon Ramsay's work for a long time, and have previously been to one of his restaurants before, which was great. We were not disappointed. The interior is great, and the servers were very kind. The food was exactly what you would expect. Perfectly cooked. Expect to pay for a high end restaurant, but it's also not too posh that you can have a fun, celebration event. I can't recommend it more. I was excited to try this place. I will preface this with saying I am the farthest thing from a picky eater. I wanted the king crab roll but they were out of it. The lobster roll was small but pretty good, the wings were okay, the crunch was good but the flavor was kind of weird. The burger was good besides the fact that it kept sliding off the stale bun, which was incredibly tiny. The beef Wellington was just straight up not good. I love Wellington and I was really disappointed here. First off when you cut into it, the meat comes flying out of the crust- it doesn't stay in. Then I notice there is this weird black film on the inside of the crust, with another strange green sauce. It didn't mention anything about either of these additions on the menu so I was a little confused, and the taste just didn't go with what Wellington should taste like. It just tasted like there was too much going on. It was more frustrating eating this more than anything else. I'm bumping this up to 3 stars because the fries were delicious and I loved the spicy mayo/siracha sauce. It's beautiful inside too. The servers are kind.

Maybe it was the time of day, and the cooks were not at their prime, but my lunchtime meal (and first time at a Ramsay restaurant) did not live up to expectations. The recommended crab cakes seemed to have good crab meat and a nice crumb crust, but it was so salty that it was actually inedible. Perhaps it had good flavor, but that flavor was completely hidden under that salt. I can see that the quality of the meat might justify the price tag, but there was no way to enjoy it. The Beef Wellington is Ramsay's signature dish. The dough around the meat was very good; the mushroom pate/stuffing around the meat was good--not necessarily a "wow"; the meat itself was well cooked -- rare but not too rare. It was overall good, but it somehow lacked that wow factor that I was expecting. I tried to add some black pepper to it to help get the flavor out, but the pepper didn't seem to be freshly ground and felt kind of lacking in potency. The portion was big -- I won't fault that. The mashed potatoes came as a tiny addendum, but they were fantastic to be honest, and so were the carrots (an even tinier addendum). A meal with those carrots and mashed potatoes would have actually been exquisite. For the reputation and the price point, I expected a nearly flawless execution and something more extraordinary. Maybe if I'd come on a Friday night I would've gotten their A-game, and the rest of the meal would have reached the level of the carrots and mashed potatoes. But I'm disappointed to say that this visit did not do it for me.

We made a reservation for 4 pm but didn't get seated until 4:15-ish, apparently because the staff was switching from lunch shift to dinner shift or something and that caused a delay? It seems like something they should work on since that sort of thing happens every day, but I guess they haven't been open very long. After being seated, the service was very polite and accommodating. My group ordered, among other things, the mushroom appetizer, fish and chips, beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding. The mushrooms I never got to taste but was told was delicious. The beef Wellington was very good. It came with some vegetables that were just okay, as well as potato purée that was amazing - hands down the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. I was so sad they put so little on the plate. Fish and chips were also really good - a big portion with very thick-cut fries/chips if you like them done that way. The fish was juicy and flaky. My favorite, though, was the dessert. The sticky toffee pudding was so amazing, I'm glad I paid for the entire thing instead of splitting it. I even ate it all despite being full from the beef Wellington because I liked it so much. It was sweet, with the edges being more of the hard/stiff side (like the coveted corner pieces of brownies) and the ice cream complimented it perfectly. 100% would come back just for the pudding.

Food was absolutely delicious, but service was a bit spotty. We were not in any hurry but the waiter seemed to forget about us for very long periods of time. Then he gave us someone else's bill. It took a while to get the right bill by then we were ready to leave. He did spend s as lot of time at other tables, I guess we just weren't important enough.

The experience was really nice and the staff were outstanding! Very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was good but it wasn't as good as I was expecting for the price. I was expecting delicious and flavorful, but it was just good. It was definitely an experience I enjoyed but I probably wouldn't go back again.

I was excited to try out Ramsay's Kitchen, his Hell's Kitchen restaurant in Vegas was one of the best meals I've had. The entire staff was nothing but excellent, friendly, and ready to help. The cocktails list was inviting, and also appreciated real thought went into mocktails. I had the Boston Inferno, which was basically an Old Fashion, and probably the best I've had. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of a beer list as much of the menu would pair really well with a beer. The giant crab cake was a bit of an odd presentation and not an improvement. The crab itself was delicious, even though it was more like eating a crab salad than cake.  The greenery included was actually deliciously dressed.  The scallops were delicious although the included salad seemed to have a piece of grapefruit, which is something you should not just slip in as it reacts to so many medicines. The chicken pot pie was a bit of a let down. Another strange presentation as it came out on what looked like my Grandmother's Sunday roast platter. The puff pastry wasn't my favorite idea, and was as salt encrusted as a pretzel, again where is my beer? The inside was more of a soup than gravy, and the veggies were chopped so fine, that it was impossible to retrieve them with a fork. It seemed like I would have had to pick up and drink it to finish the pie. The chicken was a mix of too small bits of dark meat, and too large pieces of white meat. The included salad was amazing. I'd like to go back someday and try some of the other dishes, but probably won't be a top pick. For this price point, there a lot of places I'd give five stars. I wish the menu tried a bit less for novelty for novelty sake, and more just trying to be the great version of the dish. Hi Jason, Thank you for your detailed review! Well let me start by saying we were not impressed and certainly will never dine here again. It was not worth the money at all. For all 4 of us the bill with tip was over $500. We had the mussels, beet salad, Cesar salad, Mac and cheese, peewee potatoes, broccolini, beef Wellington, scallops, lamb shank and filet mignon. The beet salad was delicious 5/5. The Cesar salad came with a soft egg which we declined and it wasn't bad but was way overdressed. The mussels were presented nice but the broth was very bland. None of our entrees had much flavor. The mac and cheese was decent, the broccolini was blah, the peewee potatoes were actually really good and all entrees were very bland. What saved the filet mignon was the purée which was flavorful. We were so excited to try the beef Wellington. It was cooked nice but no seasoning at all and impossible to cut in a pleasing way. Once you cut it, the meat falls out and it falls apart. The pastry was not flaky although it looks like it should've been. We had the lemon cheesecake for dessert and I think it was $14. It tasted pretty good but I have never seen a slice of cheesecake so small EVERRRRRR. It was a joke for that price. I can end this by saying out waitress Nevada was nice so  my 2.5 star rating goes to a 3. When we left the hostess at the door asked how the food was. We said the sides were better than the entrees and she said they get that a lot. Makes sense. I am a Gordon Ramsay fan and watch most of his shows and was really excited and had high hopes. He needs to train his chefs better. A little seasoning goes a long way!!! Hi Chaurice, We are very sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience dining in our restaurant. We would love to connect you with our General Manager to apologize and learn more about how we can improve, please email guestrelations@grna.com. Incredible. The crab cake was out of this world, The beef Wellington was to die for, and I had no idea a lemon cheesecake could be THAT good. On top of impeccable service and atmosphere, this place was worth every penny.

Had very high hopes for Ramsay's kitchen since I'm a big fan of his. Those hopes were met on the food side, but on the service side not so much. Be prepared to spend a lot of money if you want the best food on the menu. Beef Wellington is a must if you're coming here -- it is on the pricier side, but so worth it. The crab cake was the best I've ever had, and the Mac and cheese was great as a side for the table to share (just $12 and a sizable portion, I'd recommend). Also couldn't go to a Ramsay restaurant and not order the sticky toffee pudding. So great, and it's more of a cake consistency than I was expecting. Now for the reason I'm knocking a star -- the timing of the service. First of all, we had a very nice server, but he took forever to come and take our order. After he had done so, he recommended we place our full order at once as opposed to ordering just our appetizers -- don't do this. As we were enjoying our crab cake, out came all the rest of our food. We weren't even halfway done with the appetizer. I think at a restaurant of this price point, that's inexcusable. I don't want my entrees sitting there while I'm still trying to enjoy my starter. It made us rush to finish the crab cake and we couldn't savor it. Hopefully the kitchen/front of the house works out these kinks for the future. I would return for the food.

We've been to three Gordon Ramsay restaurants and this is the first disappointment.  Beet salad was great - real wasabi rules.  My wife's scallops with pork belly were great.  The beef Wellington was meh.  Beef was good, his technique of wrapping the tenderloin in mustard and prosciutto to add moisture and flavor worked.  The pastry was terrible - no puff at all - might as well have been under-cooked pie crust.  The other six or seven Wellingtons I saw in the dining room looked the same.  Shameful!  For $59 I'm calling Gordon Ramsay a Donkey and chasing him out of his own kitchen for the disgrace he served us.

Food was good.  I did not have a specialty, I stuck to the Filet Mignon.  It was good and reasonably priced however not special.  The truffle potatoes were average and I would order them again.   my real issue was service.  One of the members of my party asked for a tea and waited until we realized it wasn't coming.  This was approximately 15 minutes and they had been to our table in the meantime but alas no mention of the tea. I finally asked and they brought the tea but there was no acknowledgment of the wait. My mother asked for bread and it never came and was never addressed. Overall, I've had better service at a chain restaurant and was disappointed.

We came here for our anniversary and EVERYTHING including the service, the food and drinks, the atmosphere, was all absolutely amazing. Highly recommended. Our server Michelle was sweet, fun, attentive, and accommodating.
I love seafood, and the Bouillabaisse and the Clam Chowder were both delicious! We also had the Filet Mignon and the Baked Mac n Cheese which were both perfect.
Finished the meal with Mama Ramsay’s Toffee Pudding (which I admittedly had never heard of) and now I’m obsessed. Loved it all!

I have a lunch in Ramsay's Kitchen, this is my reviews. I really love the service, and the environment. But I would like to talk about food. I order the crab cake, mussel, and flat bread. The crab cake is good, well seasoning, and it is using a lot of crab inside. The flat bread, I never try a grape flat bread before but it is good. It is not a flavor I love, but it is good and worth to try. The mussel is not that good, I think it need more seasoning, and I think because of the lemon zest or the fennel, it make the dish taste bitter.(In my opinion, I will add onion to balance the flavor in mussel) For the main, I order the scallop, and beef wellington. The scallop is really nice, it is sweet, tender and flavorful. The beef wellington cooked well, the temperature is good, it is crispy. The only problem is the sauce in my opinion have over reduce, so we can taste the bitter from the sauce. I order sticky toffee pudding for dessert, I like it, I am not a person love sweet dessert, but I really enjoy it. So basic on that experience I give 3 out of 5.

The mushrooms are life changing and the service was impeccable. The wait staff alone could carry that restaurant with their amazing attitudes and how on point they were with everything, holding the doors, replacing napkins if they fell, filling our waters. We will definitely be back. Everything we ate was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious.
I can say we tried almost everything on the menu including drinks. It was well worth it!

I was very excited to try Ramsay's Kitchen but was sadly disappointed with the food. We ordered the beef wellington and had high expectations for the price and I've had it before at one of Gordon's Vegas restaurants but it was pretty bland and the pastry seemed under cooked. The crab cake was good but not worth $27. If it came with two or three crab cakes I would say it's worth the price. Our waiter was attentive and we had no issues with the service.

Even if the reviews are still mixed we decided to give it a try and for us it definitely paid off as it's clearly Gordon Ramsay standards. Yes it is busy and yes it is quite pricy. But it is also worth it. Our server Chris was nice and knowledgeable, he detailed the specials and signature dishes and gave us the time to decide (we didn't feel rushed to order or finish our meal!). The crab cake was delicious and the clam chowder the best we've had so far. The beef Wellington was cooked to perfection and the meat of the lamb shank was pealing off the bone! As for that sticky pudding ... yumminess on a plate! You can do wine pairings either by glass or bottle and their wine list is quite good (the cocktails are not bad either!) Oh and in closing, make sure to plan ahead and book well in advance there's no chance to catch a table the day of or even the same week. Wow, thank you, Bogdana! I'll start by saying i am a fan of Gordon Ramsay.  I ate at his restaurant STK in Vegas and it was one of the best dining experiences of my life.  That said - Ramsay's Kitchen did not come close to meeting expectations.  While there were some hits, there were more misses.   The restaurant itself looks amazing. Super trendy, and lots of fantastic details.  The dinner menu, while expectedly pricey, has enough options for everyone.  The biggest negative to our experience was the service.  It was painfully slow, our server was forgetful and never timely checked back.  I had to eat my entire appetizer course without water or a cocktail.  And despite our multiple requests we could not order an after dinner drink to enjoy with our desserts. I expect more from a restaurant at this price point.   I felt like the cocktail menu was very limited/boring.  At the suggestion of the server i had the "Old Cuban."  It wasn't very good.  My wife ordered the "90 degrees in the shade" and loved it.  I tasted it, and had to agree it was great.  I later ordered a bourbon old fashioned and it was really well made.  I think they should try to get a little more creative with the cocktail list.   For appetizers, our table ordered the crab cake and the tuna tartar.   Each can serve two people (three if everyone just wants a taste).  And each looked fantastic on the plate. The crab cake was phenomenal.  I highly recommend it. The tuna tartar was also very tasty (could certainly use a couple more wontons with the order).  You wont be disappointed if you order it. But, unlike the crab cake, I've had better at a lower price point at other local restaurants (eg Blue Ox).  Id note that when we ordered, the server said our apps would be right out, but they took about 30-40 minutes. For out mains we had the Bouillabaisse and Fish and Chips. Ive had Gordon's Beef Wellington in the past and wanted to see what he did with seafood.  I regret my decision.  The Bouillabaisse looks great and smells great.  But it fell short on taste.  That might be by design to let the seafood shine, but the broth was so mild that it felt like a relatively bland boiled seafood dinner.  Perhaps my pallet is not sophisticated enough to pick up the nuances. But it was absolutely a miss for me and I wouldn't get it again.  The Fish and Chips were made with local haddock.  The portion was huge and it was delicious. Likewise, the double fried chips that come with it were incredible.  I highly recommend this dish. But given the portion I suggest the restaurant up the amount of tartar and ketchup provided (because the chances of getting the server's attention to bring more are going to be slim).  Ill add that we ordered a side of mac and cheese just to try it.  It also lacked any notable seasoning (it needed salt, pepper, nutmeg, mustard, something).  And was disappointing For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and  the chocolate pot de creme.  Both were outstanding, but the sticky toffee pudding was the winner for the night.  If you dine here you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't order it. Here, id note that we asked the server twice for a menu to see the options for after dinner drinks to enjoy with our desserts. It finally showed up after we were almost done eating our desserts. Again, another example bad service that took away from the experience. I will go back at some point in the future.  I hope the restaurant tries to address the service issues. Hi Jason, We are very sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience with the service while dining with us. We will make sure our team is working to correct these issues. The crabcake was delicious, but on the pricey side (the salad greens that came with it were nice, but at $22 for 1  cake it's priced like a lunch entree). I also had the salmon which could have been seasoned better, but I added lots of lemon and it was OK. Lunch for 2 came to $200. The server was accurate and knowledgeable.

Popped in today for lunch. I really wanted to like this place, I did. We ordered drinks they were very good, no complaints there. Bartenders were also attentive and very good. Myself and the person I was with order the beef Wellington. I was sooo excited to try this. The food came out quickly. However, when it came out it was nearly raw and flavorless. Yes I know it's supposed to be med rare, I order all my steaks med rare; but this was below rare; purple/blueish in some areas, gelatinous, tough ribbons of raw fat that would not break down whilst chewing, and absolutely no warmth. It reminded me of a weird tuna tartare. I tried to power through and eat it but I just couldn't. A member of the staff noticed and offered me another meal. I chose the sushi; it was solid.. nothing crazy, but good. The person I was with also got the chicken wings to replace his beef wellington. They were cooked perfectly and tasted good; again nothing crazy, just good. Both parties to the left and right said their food was also just okay, yet flavorless. I hate to say this stuff but it is what it is. All and all, the service was excellent, the food was severely underwhelming , and the drinks were good. I very reluctantly will not be back, given what else is in the immediate area. 5 stars for the service, 2 stars for the food. For what we expect based on their pricing, my rating should be lower, but I do not want to dog a new restaurant. Thank you to the great staff, you were excellent

I'll preface this by saying that I am a fan of Gordon Ramsay. I've always been impressed by the technique, nuance, and overall excellence of his dishes I've seen online. However, you'll find very little of that here. Taking the advice of another yelp reviewer, I made sure to arrive at the designated time so as not to confuse the front desk workers. My initial impression was all right, the interior was modern, glassware/silverware were spotless, and our waitress didn't show any signs of confusion. But as we sat down, the first thing I noticed was that our table was very unstable, but before I thought to mention it to our waitress, I saw that the branded metallic clip was heavily smudged with someone else's fingerprints and the menu was worn and had a tear on the side. We ordered the tuna tartare, the maitake mushrooms to start. My girlfriend ordered the beef wellington and I ordered the crispy skin salmon.  The tartare arrived and was nicely plated on a beautiful piece of stoneware. Looking at the large white mound under the wontons, I initially thought: "Is that some kind of purée?  crème fraîche? ...meringue? No, it was sour cream" Why would you cheapen a dish with such a generous amount of sour cream under four small pieces of wonton? Maybe they were going for a deconstructed crab rangoon, who knows. The tuna itself seemed fresh enough, though honestly with that amount of red alaea salt, it would not taste too different if they used tuna from your local supermarket. Severely over/under seasoning, it turns out, would be the theme of the night. Next came the maitake mushrooms. The puree dots around the mushroom were a nice attempt at plating, but the technique used to deliver the inconsistency in size and shape of the puree dots was reminiscent of 12-year old me trying to get glitter out of a bottle with my left hand. The mushrooms themselves were passable, if only slightly undercooked, but the sauce was so salty that we didn't even finish the third mushroom. I was hoping the puree would have some sweetness to balance the dish, but no luck there. Now, I've had the beef wellington before at Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen, and let me tell you, this was a disappointing imitation. Unfortunately, just before it arrived, they turned the lights so low, that the layers of color in the meat were near imperceptible. Since my girlfriend didn't get to appreciate the beauty of this signature dish, all we had to go on was the taste. The beef itself was cooked very well, though not nearly as flavorful as its Vegas counterpart. However, the pastry was a bit too doughy and the vegetables had so little seasoning, they almost tasted like they were raw. The king salmon was cooked beautifully, but was unfortunately over salted. The skin was skillfully crisped, but the sad excuse for a salad looked like a last second effort to add color to the plate. The lemon vinaigrette was overly sour, devoid of any sweetness, and felt redundant with the charred lemon that it came with. I would only give one of these four dishes higher than a 2.5/5.  As I sat wondering if maybe I said I was diabetic on the reservation, I was quickly reassured that was not the case, with the arrival of the dessert menu. We ordered the lemon cheese cake because of the consistent praise it received in other reviews, and the sticky toffee pudding to find out if this dish is where all the sugar was put into. I will say that the desserts were pretty good, both 4/5 for me. The candied thyme on the cheese cake added a nice touch of texture and the warm pudding with ice cream was the first time we encountered any semblance of contrast in the dishes that night. The pudding was definitely too sweet, but given the lack of sweetness in all the other dishes, this excess was almost welcome. As we left, I glanced at the faces of the other guests and found that it was pretty close to what another reviewer described: "couples who do not speak to each other (gold digger much?), old 60+ year old women who get drunk after a few glasses of white wine with ice in it, and men in cable knit sweaters". In particular, the faces of the couple seated at the table next to ours were that of two people who were about to break up over how disappointed they were. The man was playing with the lime from his cocktail, trying to balance it on the rim of his glass of water, while the woman sat with her arms crossed, perhaps thinking maybe she too should leave some tears in the menu. Overall, if you respect the Gordon Ramsay name, I would recommend not tarnishing it by eating here. Every dish aside from the desserts felt like a car crash in your mouth, well-prepared technically, but poorly seasoned. But if you'd like some quality photos to share with your parents and friends, you can't go wrong with Ramsay's Kitchen.

First time at Ramsay's Kitchen and we were not disappointed. The beef wellington was amazing, the crab cake and wing appetizers were incredible with a Caesar salad unlike anything I've had before but the best part was our server Mike P. we all had smiles and laughed because of his incredible service and attentiveness. The only thing that would have made it better is if Mike joined us for dinner. We will be back and will request Mike P. as our server.

I honestly had really high expectations for Ramsay's Kitchen as I am a HUGE fan of Gordon as well as the shows he's hosted. I have to say, I was a little underwhelmed by our meal. We ordered the tuna tartare which we really liked! That was probably our favorite thing on the menu. The beef Wellington was okay - it was too raw and definitely not medium rare as stated on the menu. Still, it's a Ramsay classic, so I'm glad we tried it although it was extremely pricey. Lastly, we had the salmon. The salmon was super fresh and cooked to perfection, but overall the dish was pretty bland and needed more to it! Especially for $40. I'm upset we didn't try the sticky toffee pudding which everyone seems to love!! Overall it was okay, I think if you decide to go, don't set your expectations too high just because it's Ramsay's restaurant.

I was excited to dine here with my boyfriend after making reservations about a month in advance. We're both restaurant industry professionals, so we were cautiously optimistic about a celebrity chef-owned spot. Our first impression was a good one. Our reservation was late on a Monday night, and when we arrived a few minutes early, we were informed that they were running behind and our table wouldn't be ready until closer to 8:30. Not a problem. We were happy to wait at the bar and grab a drink. The bar was busy, but the bartenders were attentive and we got drinks right away. I got the Left Hand Side (rum, Aperol, sweet vermouth, mole bitters), which was great, balanced. My boyfriend got the Strawberry Chocolate Negroni (strawberry and chocolate infused gin, sweet vermouth, Montenegro, Campari), which skewed a bit sweet, but we kind of expected that. Both were well crafted and served over beautifully flawless large ice cubes. The cocktails were the best part of the meal, for sure. Our table was ready right around the time quoted, and we moved to the dining room. The food menu was a little strange. The choices felt scattered and we struggled to find a through-line or theme that tied things together. Nevertheless, the options were appetizing. For our first course, we went rouge and split the fish and chips and a side of mushrooms. It was very good. Fish had a crispy batter, not greasy, and the fish was flaky. Chips were large potato wedges, seasoned well, very tasty. I would get it again. The mushrooms were good, but quite salty. For our second course, I got the Bouillabaisse, which was just okay. The seafood was cooked well, but the broth was a lot sweeter than I'm used to. My boyfriend had the Beef Wellington, which he enjoyed, but he maintained that it was difficult to eat because of the way it was cut in half when plated. At $49 and $59, respectively, I felt that the prices were on the higher side of average for a restaurant in this neighborhood. I don't think the quality of the food was leaps and bounds beyond that of many other high end restaurants in the city. It was mostly good, some just okay, and nothing was incredible. Our server was friendly. She aptly paced our meal, kept our table clear and our glasses full, and gave insightful recommendations. She mentioned that she had a lot of wine knowledge, so I requested her choice of white to accompany my second course, offering only that I typically don't care for Chardonnay. She brought me a white Burgundy (chardonnay), but it was unoaked, so it was fine and had I not mentioned that I don't prefer that grape, it would have been a good choice pairing with my meal. I probably would've enjoyed something else better, but it was fine. The weird part came when we got the bill and Megan divulged that she had, in fact, intentionally sold me Chardonnay and, surprise, I was wrong when I said I typically didn't care for Chardonnay. I think it was an attempt to share her knowledge with me, which was a good intention, but the delivery was a real flop. It felt awkward and condescending. From an industry standpoint, it was an amateur move and just wasn't in line with the level of service I expect from a restaurant of this caliber. It put a big damper on an otherwise mediocre meal. Another weird thing that happened during dinner had to do with the music. The general vibe of the music selection was what I would describe as early 2000s fashion show. No lyrics. Modern rhythm. It's fine, definitely a popular choice, unoffensive and kind of fades into the background. That type of music played for the entire service, except for one break when "I Bet That You Look Good on the Dancefloor" by Arctic Monkeys took over. I like that song, so it was totally fine, but it was strange. Overall, I feel like this restaurant is definitely riding on the name right now. I wouldn't recommend a visit until they have time to work out the kinks and tighten up their service standards.

My boyfriend took me to Ramsays Kitchen last night for my 25th birthday, and what an incredible experience we had. The restaurant is beautiful and their entire staff was incredibly friendly and professional. We were sat at a nice round booth that we could not stop raving about. Our servers name was Bobby and he was delightful! He had so much knowledge of the menu and made incredible recommendations based on the kind of food we liked. He was also very friendly and social! I'm 33 weeks pregnant and he told us all about their mock tails and those were delicious! We got the mussels to start per Bobby's recommendation and they were so good that we finished them within minutes, it's such a great sized portion as well! We then got the Bk burger and the 8oz Filet and none of those dishes disappointed. Bobby gave us some great recommendations for dessert as well and we got was like a coffee cake pudding (which we considered getting a second round of, 100/10 would absolutely recommend to everyone to try) and the chocolate pot de crème. We would absolutely return to this incredible establishment!

We went there for lunch and were super excited to try out the restaurant. We are fans of Gordon Ramsay's show and were wondering if his restaurants would live up to the hype. For us this new Boston restaurant definitely did. We had the crab cakes and loved them, great taste and fresh crab meat. Next we just had to try his famous Beef Wellington and loved it. The meat was cooked perfectly and the taste was great. We also ordered the salmon and it was good, but definitely enjoyed the Wellington more. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding and even though we were already full and thought we couldn't eat it all, we ended up finishing the whole plate because it was so tasty. All in all, while expensive, it was totally worth it for us. We will be back.

We came here to celebrate my son's 18th belated birthday. Due to Covid we didn't get to celebrate the day of, so I figured we might as well wait for Ramsey's Kitchen to open to make it extra worthwhile. I accidentally made the reservation for March instead of February ‍. Cheryl the floor manager did her magic and accommodate us which we were very grateful for! Good management Cheryl  our waiter John was fabulously helpful and work very professionally with his team. Service and cleanliness is on point! Most memorable is the crab cake. Nice and chunky with NO FILLERS! Worth every penny. Scallops were cooked perfect  truffle potatoes were different and interesting good. My son loves the horseradish cream cheese dressing and the tuna tartare was very fresh but the the sauce is a tad on the salty side for my taste ( next time we would have to eat quickly before the dressing soaked into the tuna too much). Now onto the drinks. I had a Life's a beach and it's like a virgin drink though it's alcoholic and so I ordered the Old man Cuban and it reminds me of the real Old fashion! Boy it was strong!! But good. Already thinking of booking dinner for round two once the tables become more available. Right now nothing is available until April but that's ok because it's worth the w

I had very high expectations for this place. We came here a group of 6 women for Galentine's dinner on a Saturday night. We had made reservations well in advance for an early 6:45pm dinner. We got seated behind the reception near where the washroom exit is. The table was high and the chairs were pretty uncomfortable. We ordered a round of drinks to get started. From the starters, the chicken was out of stock. No worries, we got the flat bread and crab cakes. The flat bread was actually pretty flat from what you'll see in the photos. The crab cake (singular) was delicious! For our mains, I ordered the famous beef Wellington, however after a wait, I was told that they were out of the Wellington. The Wellington! The star of this restaurant. They were also out of the chicken pot pie. For an early dinner, it was pretty surprising that they were already out of their star dish. I settled for the scallops. When my scallops arrived, I actually only got 4 pieces of scallops for $49! I was pretty surprised at the small portion size. The fish and the vegetarian dishes however were very large portion size, they were also on the more affordable end. We decided to share the sticky toffee pudding and that honestly was the star of the dinner. Definitely not worth the hype. Maybe more for drinks and dessert experience.

The food was fantastic. The service not so much. We were there for 2 hours. As my daughter put it we spent more time waiting than eating. We ordered a bottle of wine which the waiter admitted to forgetting about....at least he was honest... And then we ordered dessert Togo and they didn't even give us the ice cream with it. It was a Tuesday afternoon not during dinner rush. I definitely expected more from a Ramsay restaurant.

We had the most amazing experience at Ramsay's Kitchen and our Waiter, Nicky, was the best part! The food was delicious, he was able to walk us through the menu, added in his favorites, and recommended a very tasty white wine! We went into the evening knowing this wasn't just a night out to eat but an experience and it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back, already booked a night in June and hoping to see Nicky again. Thank you!

My girlfriend came here for a night out before a concert last night. Everything was absolutely great, and you can tell every single detail was taken into consideration down to the softness of the seats themselves. The hosts when you walk in are very police and attentive and helped us to our seats within a minute or two. I got the beef wellington and it lived up to every expectation I had for it. The steak cut so smoothly and the flavor combinations matched up so well. The carrots were a great palate cleanser for the dish and I would recommend this dish to anyone. My girlfriend got the bouillabaisse and really enjoyed it, as well. Our server was very nice and made us feel right at home. The bathrooms were VERY nice and clean. Excited to try something else on the menu one day in the future

Our meal was everything we hoped it would be and more. While it was exceptionally expensive, we were so pleased with all of our food choices. The portions were just right, and we seven left with some leftovers. The restaurant was trendy and upscale, but didn't feel stuffy. There were families dining, along with couples throughout the restaurant. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. Our server, Megan, was so attentive without being pushy, and we we really liked her (Shout-out to Megan who worked on 2/20 at 6:30pm!) If we could afford to go again, we'd make it a regular, but it will definitely be awesome for special occasions! Wow, thank you, Melissa! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed dining with us! We can't wait to see you again! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

As soon as the Ahi Tuna Tartare appetizer arrived, I requested the chef from the kitchen.  I picked up the plate and said, "OH COME ON!  LOOK AT THIS!! IT"S RAW!!" and threw it in the bin.  I just wanted to get the full Gordon Ramsey experience.  (I'm kidding, I didn't really do that) So yes you have to book out in the advance by several months.  This place is new and it's got the GR brand on it.  But all-in-all, the place is super nice and kind of what you might expect from his locations. Service was great. The waitstaff seemed pretty well trained.  The wine list is pretty extensive as you might expect from a high end place. The Tuna Tartare was really good.  It comes with sour cream as sort of 'Gordon's take' on the dish, or so I was told. I love sour cream, but really not needed because the tuna and avocado was great without. I absolutely had to try the Beef Wellington. I just could not come here and skip that.  It's not a dish I often seek out, but I was pleased with the execution here.  Be warned, it's wrapped in prosciutto, so if you don't eat pork, just be warned.  This might be common for the dish, I have only had it once before elsewhere and it didn't have the ham.  Anyway, the pastry around it is baked to a nice brown crisp.  The dish is amazing to look at.  The cook on it is medium rare.  It was much more to the rare side, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and finished every bite. The bouillabaisse dish was really fresh and the broth was good. Just a bowl of fresh seafood to enjoy.  Nothing in there tasted like it was frozen. I probably could have eaten two of those. There are a few choices of sides, but went with the maitake mushrooms. I would have probably ordered the potato puree as a side, because what comes with the Wellington, is like a tablespoon of it just smeared across the plate.  It's not enough to be satisfying.  I wanted more.  Saw alot of the fries side making it's way to other tables.   Finally, dessert.  Don't skip the dessert.  The lemon cheesecake was perfection.  The chocolate pot de creme was spectacular.  The desserts are small, so just order all of them.  I regret not doing that, since I probably won't be able to get back in until July. I honestly came in here with mid-level expectations of the place being good but not great.  I was surprised at how much I did enjoy my meal.  Everything about the place lived up to expectation.

TLDR: Buzzy new restaurant with food that lives up to the Gordon Ramsay hype and a great staff that really completes the experience. Though sadly, Chef Ramsay was not there to call me an idiot sandwich... **** I excitedly snagged a Saturday lunch reservation (~1 month in advance), having daydreamed about trying Gordon Ramsay's famous Beef Wellington as a kid. Check-in experience (3/5): When we arrived, the host stand seemed a bit overwhelmed -- so it took a few minutes to greet us / get us checked in, and then a few more minutes before someone showed us to our table. Decor (5/5): The space has a fantastic aesthetic -- well-lit, inviting, blue/white hues, and wooden accents. Loved the unique light fixtures, as well as the furniture. Vibe (2/5): We enjoyed the overall vibe of the restaurant, staff, patrons -- the only thing that missed the mark was that the music felt off-brand and seemed to get increasingly louder throughout our meal Service (5/5): Really fantastic group of people working at Ramsay's Kitchen. In particular, our server Michael was very attentive, charismatic, and thoughtful. Food (4/5): My partner and I typically enjoy sharing a few dishes, so we ordered: - Tuna tartare: Large appetizer portion that is great for sharing; really flavorful and well-cut tuna chunks; sour cream was an interesting twist. The only thing is we would have liked was more wonton chips (only came with 3) -- Michael informed us later that all we had to do was ask, but we'd already licked the plate clean by then - Beef Wellington: What to say except that this dish certainly lives up to the hype. The meat was perfectly cooked medium rare, and there was great flavor on the pastry and mushroom duxelle. Perhaps could have come out a bit warmer, but it was delightful nonetheless. I saw some people ordering an entire plate for themselves, but I think it's actually perfectly shareable for 2 -- especially if you're looking to try other dishes! - Broccolini: Had to get a vegetable side to make us feel like we were being at least kind of healthy...It was a bit on the oily side, but well cooked / crunchy / punchy flavor - Sticky toffee pudding: WOW. My first bite had me feeling like that scene from Ratatouille with the strawberry and cheese (iykyk). I'd never had sticky toffee pudding before, but this was one of the best restaurant desserts I've had. Such a delicious blend of flavors and textures. The creme fraiche ice cream also packs a unique and tangy flavor that complements the dish well! Drink (4/5): We tried the Witches Elixir -- apparently one of the more popular cocktails. It was pretty good and had a fun citrusy flavor Cost (4/5): Our bill (for 2 people) came to ~$130 (pre tip), which is definitely on the pricier end for lunch, but is also on-par with many of the nice restaurants in Boston. If you're willing to splurge a bit, then would highly recommend you check Ramsay's Kitchen out!

The hostess in the tall white boots was very sweet. She realized we were waiting well beyond the quote time for a high table, so she offered us a booth by the bar that was bigger and had a great view of the restaurant. Food wise: the Beef Wellington is a MUST. It was amazing and worth the price. I would pass on the Hot Lobster Roll. Our dessert (Toffee Pudding) was AMAZING! Service wise: it took awhile for our server to take our order and our entrees arrived well before our drinks, but overall it was a good experience and I would come back again.

My husband and I went to lunch during the week. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed an amazing beet salad with everything bagel crumbs and horseradish cream followed by the Wellington and the crabcake - which was nearly 100% crab. The food is artfully and expertly prepared and the service is ultra professional. The quality of the food and service cannot be overstated. The Ramsay brand isn't all hype - it absolutely delivers. I look forward to going back very soon!

Wow. I'm still pretty happy in my belly and I could still eat more if I didn't care about my pants. My friend booked this Friday night table almost a month ago. We were seated on time and the decor was very chic and our white leather booth was very comfy. I wish I had that in my house! The front ladies were awesome and made us feel very warm. We were taken care of by Adam, ordering a few negronis to start. One of our friends doesn't drink and tried the Santa maria (a bloody mary mocktail) and she loved it. I tried it and it was delicious! We ordered plenty to share and our food came out quickly. Dozen oysters 10/10 very fresh Shrimp cocktail 4/10 shrimp were very big but was slimey Tuna tartare 8/10 fdecent portion, flavors were great but over-salted Crab cake 10/10 why can't you give me MOREEEEE so much crab, so flavorful, so decadent, my favorite of the night, I almost ordered another after dessert Truffle Pee wee potatoes 10/10 nice and lightly crunchy on the outside, soft and pillowy inside Broccolini 10/10 sautéed with garlic and most often when this dish is ordered at other restaurants, the veg is old and chewy. It was light, sweet, and crunchy at RK. Maitake mushrooms 11/10 this is what mushroom should taste like. Now, give me more. The umami, the roasted flavor, nice touch of fat and salt. So good. Mushrooms often get wet during cooking. Well done. Beef wellington 10/10 since this is my first beef wellington and I loved this dish, it's perfect. The beef was tender, crust was flaky but not heavy. Sauce inside added layers of flavor. I tasted mushroom and perhaps parsley. That accompanying potato puree was smooth, light but also buttery, comforting. One can surely eat bowls of the puree without feeling overwhelmed. I almost didParsley. Seafood bouillabase 9/10 I wish I had a bowl of noodles for the sauce. Or a container to take it home. The dish wasn't a meager portion. It was a lot of seafood but the shrimp was overcooked and tough. It ruined what could've been a great dish. More potato would've been nice with texture. Sticky toffee pudding 8/10 great toffee syrup but the cake was cloyingly sweet. My friend loved it. Chocolate pot de creme 10/10 mmm this pot of heaven was the best dessert I've had in a while. So smooth. The chocolate flavor was so pronounced but wasn't cloying. It had crunchy bits on top with some cream, making it a fun dish. Would've eaten a pot full. Would I come back? Yes! I really enjoyed this meal and wouldn't have cared if it belonged to a celebrity chef since it isn't him cooking it. The chefs at RK deserve a lot of credit and I'm loving that it's in Boston. Coming back soon if I can snag a reservation. Oh and Adam was great! Great runners as well.

Absolutely amazing experience. Wait staff was incredible and easy to talk to. Food came out in a timely manner and was cooked to perfection. I am a huge Gordon Ramsey fan so I may be biased but 10/10. Beef Wellington was incredible did not even need a steak knife. Signature cocktails and wines were just as beautiful made and picked. Thank you for a great experience, only downside was I did not seen Ramsey himself.

Excellent experience! The host Bailey was fantastic and beyond welcoming. Our server Kat was top tier!! She was a pleasure, made great recommendations, and no matter what happened she handled it like a professional. The manager, Mike, was on top of his game, making anything that wasn't up to standard right. My wife and i go to many restaurant s in and around Boston, but Ramseys kitchen has become one of our favorites. Excellent atmosphere, excellent food, top service!!!

I came here with 3 others for a bday celebration. I was very excited to try this as a huge fan of all of his shows. We knew it was going to be pricey but ordered a ton of things to try them out, including the lamb shank, beef welly, tomahawk steak and a few starters. The lamb shank was a bit dry and bland and the server was nice enough to replace it for us with the fish and chips which was cooked very well. Our server was super nice. I told her that I've always had bad luck when it came to steaks not being cooked correctly but I took a chance since it was GRK. We went with medium rare. When the steak came out, they told me they had to cut away a larger portion of it because it was all fat and that another portion was coming. The first half was delicious. Cooked perfectly and tender. The sauce was bomb. We anxiously waited for the second half to come and I was excited. But that thing came out medium well and DRY and the sauce was runny. I could tell they fired it up and tried to rush it because they were busy, but it's a $140 steak so I'd expect a bit more love to go into it, no? I wouldn't have minded waiting longer if it meant it would be cooked correctly. I kept imagining how Gordon would react on Hell's Kitchen if this was served. Anyway. It's was almost a 5 star night, but since the last taste in my mouth was overcooked steak, I'm giving it a 3. Yes, I'm salty because I had high expectations from a GR restaurant. TL;DR: Great service. Good drinks. Hit or miss on the food depending on your luck. Pricey but worth it if all of your dishes are cooked perfectly. Not worth it otherwise.

Came here tonight with my husband. We've been watching Gordon Ramsay's show for years so we couldn't wait to try his new restaurant out and the Beef Wellington. Got there at 5 o'clock on Saturday. NO Beef Wellington, that's right, all out of the Beef Wellington. Really?!?!!? Wow!! So we both got the Bouillabaisse, which was great but we really would've liked to try that famous Wellington. :(

I'm a HUGE fan of Gordon Ramsay.  I've watched his shows for years and took his Masterclass Online and it taught me SO much.  I couldn't wait to get here when I heard it had opened.   We had an early reservation and showed up early for THAT, but we took a seat at the bar and soaked in the ambience.  It's everything I expected the Gordon's name on it.  The colors, the selection, the lighting EVERYTHING was amazing.  It was in tip top shape for the start of dinner service.   The front of house staff was very professional, the bartenders seemed to mix our drinks perfectly. Everyone was pleasant, courteous and professional with us the entire night through. What can I say about the food?  It was indescribably good.  I do not like crab cakes, they're nothing I've ever cared for but tried his at the request of my dinner date and was blown away.  It was a perfect blend of flavor and succulence that honestly I've never seen any crab cake remotely approach. For the main course, I'd wanted to try his beef Wellington for years and it was everything I wanted it to be. The meat seemed to melt on my tongue as I ate.  I split my Wellington with my dinner companion who in return shared her lamb with me as we both wanted to taste as many foods as possible.  When the main course was through, there was nothing left on either of our plates as we had consumed it down to the ceramic.   By dessert, I was full...but we decided  to go for it anyway...and the desserts were some of the best food I've EVER eaten, in particular the sticky toffee pudding.  It was warm, and the caramel sauce was worth it all by itself. I cannot WAIT to try the rest of the menu as I plan to return over and over. Tl;dr: Friendly service. A beautiful dining room and bar.  Wonderful food. You couldn't ask for better than that.  5 stars. Wow, thank you, Wade, your review made our day! We are thrilled to hear that you had an incredible dining experience with us! We can't wait for you to visit us again! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

I am blown away from the divine cuisine at this restaurant. Everything was perfection! From the oysters, to the mac and cheese, the lobster roll, and the salmon .. oh my goodness the salmon was the best salmon I’ve ever had in my life. So buttery and juicy! Then of course I had to get dessert. We got the sticky toffee pudding and it was so good! We gobbled it up no matter how full we were. We couldn’t let it go to waste. The spiced pear cocktail was also amazing

4 stars - Would Return Pretty good meal at Chef Gordon Ramsay's new spot in Boston. Taking over what I believe was Bar Boulud, they've definitely restyled the place to be more modern. I really liked the wings and fries. The classic Beef Wellington was okay. The bouillabaisse was under-seasoned and the bread that came with it was burnt. The toffee pudding dessert was also nice.

I've seen a couple bad reviews, and I'm pretty shocked. Our experience was exactly what you should expect from the name. The tuna tartare, crispy skin salmon, and beef welly were unbelievable. The drinks were also phenomenal. I'm assuming the others had a bad experience and suggest you give it another whirl. Service was great, and food was insanely good. The filet in the beef welly I could've cut with a butter knife. Will try again and update, but the first visit was absolutely spectacular. Based on the vibe from other people visiting, I think most agreed too. So I suggest trying again.

Everyone we encountered, from the ladies at the front desk who were very inviting, to Ballina, the bartender, Jack, our server, and even the patrons at the bar, like Crystl, my wine friend, were upbeat and engaging. The lighting is perfect- not too bright, not too dark. The food was exquisite. The CT lobster roll was tasty and just the right size. The lamb is fall-off-the-bone and extremely flavorful. The fries were fabulous. The lemon cheesecake was perfectly lemony. The pot du creme was delicious and light. On top of it all, it was a well-priced evening. Will certainly be back.

One of the greatest dining experiences of my life. Chef Ramsay’s restaurants are extraordinarily delicious. We started with the beer steamed mussels with pork belly which were phenomenal. We then had the Lamb Shank, Boulliabase, and of course the Beef Wellington all were incredible. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert is unlike anything I’ve ever had in my life. This place is worth a special trip.

Was it delicious? YES! Was it expensive? YES! Was it worth it? Maybe...? Like so many others, I just couldn't wait for this restaurant to open. I got lucky enough to get reservations on opening weekend! It was interesting, however, that the restaurant was obviously only 2/3 full. When we asked, we were told they were easing into the opening, and wouldn't book at full capacity for a few weeks. The dining room is decorated beautifully, but honestly, it looks like nearly other other restaurant with nothing notable to report. Our party ordered quite a selection from the menu. I will say, however, that it was a little disappointing there weren't more vegetarian options. Many dishes that you would have assumed to be vegetarian, like pee wee potatoes, didn't designate them as such. Our vegetarian did order the beet burger and asked numerous times if it was in fact meat-free because it tasted so much like a real burger. The crab cakes were some of the best I've ever had. 100% crab with no filler or binding and delicious seasoning. The tuna tartar was also super fresh and flavorful; I found it have just the right amount of spice. It was interesting to have it served with sour cream, but it was described to us that this was the British way. Now - for the beef wellington! This was the entire reason we came! It was delicious, no doubt. However, we agreed that we would be hard-pressed to order it again. There was nothing wrong with it, but it just wasn't as wonderful as the scallops! The scallops were cooked to absolute perfection, huge hunks of pork belly, and the sauces paired with the oranges was a dream. I also had one of their signature cocktails, a pear concoction that was delicious. And the sticky toffee pudding was the perfect ending! All told, with everything described above, plus a glass of wine and tip, our total bill was around $300. This is over our usual budget for dinner, but it was an experience. And we can say we went to one of Gordan Ramsay's restaurants. But I would not be in a huge hurry to return. Hi Louise, Thank you for your review, we greatly appreciate your feedback! We have noted the issues you encountered and will make sure our team is working to correct them as soon as possible. We are so glad you enjoyed much of your meal and we hope you return soon! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

Amazing staff and amazing food!! I have celiac and they were so accommodating and knowledgeable. The waitress knew everything that was gluten free by heart and went back multiple times to confirm with the chef that I would not get sick. Must try!!

(3/5 stars but hoping to return for a better score) I went to Ramsay's Kitchen during their soft opening season. I love the aesthetics of this restaurant. The theme of navy, copper, brown, ivory and mustard works so well. It gives this really sophisticated modern feel, but welcoming enough for the millennial professionals in the area to come grab a drink or two after work. When we arrived we were eyeing the tables to see what others had ordered, so we could get an idea of what we wanted from the menu. It was a bit confusing to find out that because of the soft opening, tables were getting different menus for testing/trial purposes for the restaurant. Which made sense to us, but we weren't crazy about the options we had. For our starter we chose the Tamarind-Glazed Chicken wings. We were skeptical but our server insisted. It was our first time trying "frenched" or "lolipop" wings, and honestly they didn't disappoint. We were given hot  towels to clean hands from the wings. The towels left our hands so soft! We loved them. For our entrees two of chose the Crispy Skin Salmon and the other chose the 8 ounce Filet Mignon. Both meals were really tasty, the salmon was preferred over the filet, as we weren't quite impressed with filet. It was ordered medium, and it was but the presentation of it with streak of blood on the plate was a bit off putting. Also, there wasn't much flavor, so it wasn't a meal we would highly recommend. We also ordered the Baked Mac & Cheese and it was a bit underwhelming as well. It was more soupy than cheesy and there wasn't much flavor. We didn't order any dessert, as the options we were given didn't entice us. We were looking forward to trying the Chocolate Pot De Creme, but it wasn't on our menu. Overall, it was a decent experience with the best part being the decor and the drinks we ordered (from the bar as menu cocktails didn't attract us.) Also, our server Nichoulas was AMAZING! When we return to try FULL Menu offerings, we will be sure to return when he is working. He walked through the soft opening event details, the truth about sharing sizes and option flavorings.

We were thrilled to come in last night and get a high top table by the bar. We were immediately greeted by Stephanie she had such a great energy! Quickly she introduced us to her favorite cocktails and guide us into her fav food items! Food was incredible but we were super impressed on her service. She was so attentive while super busy with other tables! She made our night we are coming back for valentines dinner and requesting her again. Thank you for such an incredible experience..

tldr: come here when you're willing to spend a bit more and aren't in a hurry. absolutely try the beef wellington, loup de mer, and sticky toffee pudding; skip the bouillabaisse and the chocolate pot de crème. Was SO excited that this restaurant finally opened! The interior was nicely designed, and on a Thursday night at 6pm it was full but not crowded. The service was wonderful-our server, Nicole, did really well to explain dishes on the menu and answer our questions, and was attentive throughout our meal. No bathrooms in the restaurant itself, you will have to go over to the Mandarin Oriental to use theirs. We did wait over 35 minutes between receiving our sides (we had these brought out first) and our mains, but our server made sure to check in and our glasses were continuously refilled as we waited. For our sides, we ordered the Baked Mac & Cheese and the Truffled Peewee Potatoes. The Mac & Cheese was creamy and flavorful, and the herbed breadcrumb topping was great. The Truffled Peewee Potatoes were a disappointment-the truffle flavor was pretty much unnoticeable and the dish was otherwise pretty average. The Beef Wellington was fantastic! The meat was so tender and perfectly medium rare. The pastry complemented the meat very well and itself was buttery and delicious. Both the potato puree and red wine demi glace paired great with the dish and altogether made a combination of well-balanced flavors. The Loup de Mer may have been my favorite dish of the night (even more so than the Beef Wellington)! The dish sounds simple-essentially just a grilled, salted branzino-but the flavor had wonderful depth. I was especially fascinated by the presentation; the plating was lovely, and the cauliflower purée was initially a lavender-purple color. Upon drizzling the lemon juice over it, the purée changed colors to a bright hot pink, which I thought was extremely cool! The skin of the fish was flaky and slightly crispy, and the meat was tender, delicate, and had a slightly sweet/mild flavor. The Bouillabaisse unfortunately missed the mark for me. We found the seafood to be overcooked, with an almost rubbery texture. The flavor of the stew was absolutely delicious. However, the baguette slices served with the dish were extremely toasted, crunchy, and hard. As much as I love a well-toasted bread, these were far too crisp, and as a result they were also poor for soaking up the flavorful stew (i.e. the sole highlight of the dish). For dessert, we got the Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Chocolate Pot de Crème. Sticky Toffee Pudding is a MUST HAVE. The warm sponge cake with the cool melting ice cream, all generously doused in toffee sauce was incredible. We enjoyed every bite, and I personally did not find it to be too sweet. The Chocolate Pot de Crème was definitely a disappointment-while it was tasty, the portion was minuscule and the presentation/overall dessert was underwhelming. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my meal + experience here and will absolutely be back to try more dishes/indulge in the Sticky Toffee Pudding again :)

What an outstanding meal. Wellington was everything we thought it be and we are always in search of the perfect Wellington ( I think we have found it). We also LOVE oysters and while we have had most types readily available on east coast it was the fact that these just seemed cleaner. All the staff super nice and down to earth. Our server Stephania was awesome. It was pricey but so worth the money.

Sad to say this, but very underwhelmed. Truly hope it was first Friday jitters. Wife and I were super excited for this restaurant to open after having been to both Heddon Street and Bread Street. Sadly, this is nowhere near the level of those two restaurants. So sorry guys, long review... Drinks: - "Boston's Inferno": first one tasted great. Reminiscent of an old fashioned with a smoked whisky and maple syrup instead of simple and came with a single cube stamped with RK and an orange rind garnish. Second one was made with bagged ice and not garnished, also tasted like the wrong whisky. - Wife ordered Grey Goose martini with olives. Again, first one was great, second one was not grey goose, had no olives nor any vermouth. Bizarre. Got sent back. Starters: - Clam chowder: pretty good, no complaints! Pour over presentation at the table was a nice touch. - Crab cake: best dish of the night, highly recommend! Super fresh and flavorful. Mains: - Beef Wellington: this is where the wheels fell off. Not nearly as good as previous Wellingtons I've had at Gordon's restaurants. I had a feeling it wasn't going to be as good when I wasn't instructed to order it at the beginning of service because it takes awhile to prepare. Wellington was cold and lacked seasoning; it seemed like a frozen version of Gordon's that was pulled out of a box and popped in the oven at 350* for 10 minutes. Purée was cold, but good consistency and flavor. A depression set in after the first bite; I was so excited to have the Wellington and it fell short. - Wife ordered the NY strip, which was very good. Perfect sear and very flavorful. Wish I went this route instead. Dessert: - Sticky Toffee Pudding: couldn't tell ya if it was good or bad; by 8:00 it was sold out. Must've been good. A deeper depression set in. Just not my night, apparently.

My friends and I were here for their soft opening. They're still working out the kinks, but that's expected with any new restaurant. Many items on the main menu were out so we had to order from a different menu. Nonetheless, everything that we did get, was great. I'm in love with the salmon. I can't get over that crispy skin haha. I'll definitely be back to try the infamous beef Wellington, chicken wings, and other items!

I was so excited to visit this new Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and it delivered on every level! Our server Ross and his trainee (Bobby, I think) did a fantastic job explaining how the new restaurant concept came to be and highlighting the must-haves from the menu. We started with the Boston's Inferno cocktail and a bottle of wine. I don't usually drink whiskey or bourbon, but the cocktail was really tasty with a well balanced flavor profile.  Our Caesar salad was delightful with fresh hint of lemon. I also loved the small bacon chunks, that gave it a great texture variety. Our main course was perfect in every way. My husband enjoyed the signature Beef Wellington, served at the perfect medium rare temperature Gordon would have been proud to serve himself. So tender and packed with crazy flavor! My entree, the lamb shank, was exceptionally beautiful, and even more tasty. I would highly recommend! The sides (potato purée, truffle potatoes, and Mac and cheese) were great accompaniments. For dessert, we ordered the signature sticky toffee pudding (warm on bottom and cold on top) and the lemon cheesecake. Our server recommended an after dinner port wine and espresso martini to pair with them and once again, he was spot on! This place will be a MUST any time I visit.

Spicy pear martini was excellent. Music was a little loud at the bar. I was hoping for some Sinatra. I’ll return to try the dinner sometime. Customer service at the bar was excellent!

10/10 HIGHLY recommend. If you’re a Gordon fan you’ll absolutely love this place. I was smiling the ENTIRE time I was there. With his signature dishes (recipes) and moms toffee pudding recipe, it’s to die for. Worth every penny! Food melts into your mouth. I had the veggie burger (without beet slaw) and it was so flavorful!
The place is elegant and has top notch service. Juan was an amazing, personable waiter. Made my night even better. Everyone has a smile on their faces and it was so welcoming. They triple check if there was any food allergies which I appreciated. Great food and wine recommendations. I wish I could eat here every day lol
Also, (so funny) who checks menu prices when going to Gordon’s restaurant? .. If you are going to just complain about food prices, go home and make it yourself- this is a high quality restaurant not a gross chain restaurant like hooters. You have to have good taste to come here!!

Yes prices on some of the items are higher however every single bite was enjoyable today at Ramsay's Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay  Boston! Description under each pix,  just click! Tuna Tartar was one of the freshest I have truly had and I am not a huge avocado fan but since it was sliced thinly it was the perfect pairing with all the other ingredients combined on that fried wonton chip! Very highly recommended and honestly the price was fair for how much was on the plate! Beef Wellington was something I will honestly remember! You could take the Celebrity name off the dish and it would still be prob one if not my favorite. You truly didn't even need a knife to cut into that beef just sooo tender and succulent. Cooked to perfection and each layer was just enough flavoring that nothing overpowered each other which I have found other places to do that, not saying it's not good! This signature dish we see on his TV shows live up the the hype. Lemon Cheese Cake was good! I'll say I'd never think about candied thyme to go with this dessert or any really but it brought the richness out of the custards that was on the plate! Over all this restaurant is very good and I am not just saying that because I enjoy his TV shows! I've been to a few other Celebrity chef restaurants and some are better then others but this one takes the cake so far. I definitely would say go there during lunch, earlier the better and they have a special lunch menu you can find online but bar was nice and empty. Even when I left the lounge side had plenty of room for some walk ins. Dinner time good luck. Those hoste were on the phone booking off the wazoo and that's onto of their online reservation! Over all go there if you'd like a fun experience and something  new! Each of his restaurants are differently themed. This is his 1st style of a mix menu concept! I know we all have our own opinions and this is just mine and mine only. Please be respectful to others who may want to try this restaurant. Once again I know it's expensive but I enjoy great food and I'll pay what I need to for it when I choose to! Ps the winner of #HellsKitchen is running this restaurant and he is expected to show face next week soooooo! gordonramsayrestaurants.… Wow, thank you, Kait for such a fantastic review! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your dining experience with us! Your feedback is greatly appreciated as we work to enhance our guest's experiences with every service. I've been waiting for this restaurant to open since it was announced. Gordon Ramsay's first restaurant in Boston. The ambiance was very modern with a touch of blue  and white theme colors. Noise level can get a bit loud when it fills up. Seats were very nice and comfy. Our server Michelle was absolutely amazing. We started off with the tuna tartare appetizer, a bit heavy on the chili garlic soy, overall good. Then we order the signature Beef Wellington which was absolutely delicious, very soft and flavorful. We definitely recommend. Seared Scallops was very fresh and sweet, nicely seared. A bit disappointed on the lobster roll as it was a bit dry. Boston is known for a good lobster roll, but this one needs some more Boston/Connecticut love on it. The Post & Beam Cabernet was a fine wine indeed. I'm not a big fan of red wine but this one was good. I also tried their Life's a Beach Mocktail because the name caught my eyes, the chili salt got the spice touch started then cool down by the drink. If you are not into alcoholic drinks, this one is fun to have. Hi Puika, Thank you so much for your review! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your dining experience with us. We can't wait for you to visit us again! Thank you for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

Blessed to partake in Gordon Ramsay's new restaurant in Boston on opening night! My first impression of the place was that this didn't look too over the top and was elegant in the design. I thought it was interesting how they split the dining area into a more intimate and dimmed lighting on the right side of the restaurant and then more open area with brighter lights on the left side. The food and drink menu looked great with a variety of options for any pallette. We chose to go with the braised lamb and of course the famous beef wellington for mains. We noticed how everyone had the mac and cheese and figured we had to try as well. For appetizers we decided on tuna tartare and tamarind glazed wings. The most important dish of the night, the beef wellington was absolutely amazing! Extremely tender that when you go to cut with your knife, it just slides right through without much effort. All the while the pastry wrapping stayed intact and hugged the beef as you cut. The potato puree was great and the accompanying red wine sauce went well with everything. Root veggies were an afterthought on this. The lambshank was decent, it was cooked nicely maybe slightly tough in certain areas but the flavor was good. I just wish it was slightly less gamey. The accompanying side dishes included with the lamb were good and helped cut some of that gameyness. Tuna tartare app was insanely good and highly recommended. The sour cream is an interesting addition and actually tasted amazing with everything incorporated into a single bite. Tamarind chicken wings was possibly my least favorite dish. The glaze just didnt jive well for me but thats my opinion. Other than that the wings were perfectly cooked and tender. Mac and cheese was definitely one of the best side items, it just tastes like a perfect balance of rich creamy and delicious. Drinks were astoundingly good, I'm a huge fan of whisky type cocktails and the boston inferno was soooo good. If you don't like cocktails, they have an extensive wine list and apparently they had an in house sommelier to provide info on each wine. The desert menu only has 4 options but each probably packs a huge flavor punch. We went with the sticky toffee pudding and it was insanely good. Our waitress was telling us that this was Gordons grandmother's recipe so we had to try it. In my opinion it was a bit too sweet but is a nice way to end a savory meal. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and the service was top notch. I will definitely be coming back to try some of the other menu items, especially the seafood since we didnt order any on this occassion. Wow, thank you, Erik for such a fantastic review! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your entire dining experience! We can't wait to see you again soon when you come to try our incredible seafood options. Thank you for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated! - Ramsay's Kitchen Guest Relations

Astonishing vibe remarkable experience with delicious food and drinks. Ordered finger-licking beet burger with fries and truffle potatoes, Chef Gordan Ramsey's award-winning beef Wellington and Boston's organic mussels.
Cocktails made by Laura were outstanding and delicious.
Mike(Michael) took really great cared of us and we enjoyed all his recommendations.

MVP was Hector, he was outstanding and will definitely will be back soon.
